Remakes are recreations/reboots of a game from the ground up on a new engine with completely new resources not faithful to the original.

Remasters aren't bad in general, it's just that a lot of them have been half assed.

I don't agree, the sequel was MILES better.

It may have been rushed but it still turned out to be a great game, when I first played it I had no idea it was rushed and still fully enjoyed it.
