I am so glad that I started Maclin over Nicks in one of my teams, game me a monster 29 points.

I started Nicks hoping he would give me atleast 8 points to win in my other league but he gave me 7 and now I am 1-0-1. I hate ties, there should have been a tie-breaker.

Over all this week i went 7-1-1. Pretty good week but had a better week 1.

The biceps are a differnt from other muscle types you need to do more reps to get a difference in strength and mass. The common weight lifter does around 8 reps when it has to be around 12 reps to be equivalent to those 8 reps for your bicep. Trust me, when I was big in to I was maxin out at 65lbs 5x in each arm with almost perfect form

Gonna sit DeAngelo Williams this week for Sproles because Williams isn't really doing much with Cam Newton lighting up the scoreboard. I may cut Williams all together if this continues this week but for right now, I don't really trust him.The-Apostle

I am still baffled why they would give him such a big contract and then just have him do nothing while Newton goes on a passing blitzkrieg.

I don trust him either, but i did hold on to Daniel Thomas and Ben Tate in my bench so i should be good.

@theone86

You are right about this topic getting derailed. So lets just let it rest and we can all agree to disagree.

Anyone see the Giants game last night? IMO that was a cheap win after they pulled off an obviously terribly acted injury to stop the rampant Rams and their no huddle offense.

I wanna see how Giants fans feel about this

And him being an advocate for animal rights is such an obvious PR move it not even funny. He goes from torturing to defending animals?? Thats like an Arsonist joining the Fire Dept.

I dont care if he defend and voices for animal rights if it helps the cause but just don't be naive in to believing that it was his choice and not his agents or PR.

Okay, first off everyone is entitled to their opinions so I really don't care if you think of me as a "miserable human being" and I am not going to lose any sleep over it.

Vick has always been cocky and arrogant, and if you guys think that he has changed you really need to grow up and stop watching Disney movies. I had no opinion on him before but I respected his talent and what he brought to the game. But you come out to defend imo a "miserable human being" as Vick who passes time and actually enjoys the depravity of dog fighting and taking pleasure in the animals death and suffering for his own personal entertainment and greed while he was getting paid millions.?? If that makes me a "miserable human being", I have no idea wat you are.

And the only only reason you are probbably defending him is because you are an Eagles fan, so you have to, cuz without him your chances aren't that good. And don't tell me that he isn't cocky and arrogant anymore, he showed it sunday night when he was going to the locker room and fans started booing him, he just pointed(twice) to the scoreboard at the time was 31-21 Eagles leading. Really?? Thats how you treat the city and the fans that gave you your start in NFL and placed their trust in you? Yea,...he looks like a changed man alright. Once a bum always a bum.

Video: They show the ponting about 30 sec in to clip.

[QUOTE="Jacen22"]

Well, it never too late to start. This is my second season playing Fantasy Football and it is really addicting, especially if you keep winning. 8)

1) I would hold on to Edwards atleast for now, he is a good reciever and should get better once he gets used to the system. I have no idea why you even picked up Jacoby Ford but he is a bum imo. Sydney Rice would be the top target in Seattle but he is injured and no one knows when he will be back and the downside is that he has Jackson as his QB. His value should go up if and when they bench Jackson for Whitehurst who is the better QB. Good adds for now would be Devery Henderson, Jordy Nelson, or Nate Burleson if they are available in your league.

2) I think Matt Ryan should be a good start against Tampa Bay. Stafford lit them up in Week 1 and even McNabb had a solid game against their defense. Jay Cutler is goin against the Packers and their pass rush combined with Chicago's terrible O Line spells trouble. You can pick up Newton if you have the space.Newton was wearing a boot on his right ankle Monday but he is expected to practice.

3) Tampa Bays defense has let opponents score points on them alot. If you dont have an elite DST just Add/Drop weekly according to match ups that particular week, Yea, San Diego defense should do really good against the regressing Chiefs, especially with Jamaal Charles (torn ACL) out for the season. Pick it up, it would be an elite option for Week 3.

Thanks for the advice :) I'm enjoying the fantasy football. It makes it a more interesting way to follow the sport because I'm starting to root for teams I wouldn't usually.

I'm in London so I missed the draft for our league so I never picked any of my players lol. I did get some decent players though. Unfortunately those WR you mentioned are unavailable. I'll see who is on waivers to fill any space.

I think I'll start Ryan then. Hopefully the Falcons offense can get it going for me.

I'll also pick up the San Diego defense while they're available.

Thanks again mate

Hey, no problem I love talking about football and giving and listening to opinions. Thats why I made this topic thread.

I obviously dont know everything, no body does. I just look at the facts from several wbsites to make my decisions and analysis of players and their situations. You have to make the final judgement and dont follow everyones advice blindly, go with your gut. :D

Thats pretty cool you being from England playing Fantasy Football, thats a first I have seen. Good Luck in your league.

I even called it about Vick. I said he wouldnt make it past Week 4 without getting banged up. And he cant even make it past the 2nd week!! The dude is a major liability for that fat contract Philly showered him with.

Always hated Vick and was glad to see that happen to him, I was hoping that it would have been sumthin more serious but this was pretty good too since the "Dream Team" ended up losing. :D

Hey guys, I'm new to this fantasy football thing and I need some advice.

1) Are Braylon Edwards, Jacoby Ford and Sidney Rice worth keeping. I have Hakeem Nicks and DeSean Jackson as starters.

2) I'm not sure what to do about my QB situation. I have Jay Cutler and Matt Ryan but I dunno how they will perform in their next games. Should I gamble on picking up Cam Newton while he's available?

3) Finally, what are your thoughts of Tampa Bays defense? I'm thinking of picking up San Diego's defense because I think they might have a good matchup against Kansas.

Thanks

Im going with Hakeem Nicks, he is Mannings favorite target and almost never fails to to grab a TD. Hopefully this works out :?
