I haven't had any super lucky finds yet but I'd kill my own mother for an original PS1 copy of FF Tactics.PyreofKoLThat is kinda drastic. Try stealing it from her and keep it for yourself.
[QUOTE="cjimrun"]OK. If Vivi doesn't make you jealous (even though it secretly does)...how bout my brand new Vincent Valentine:
angelbless
 Wow.. I want one of those :(
I want a Vincent Valentine action figure too. He's such a cool character.[QUOTE="angelbless"][QUOTE="Balmane"]Balthier is the only reason why I played FFXII. He's such badass.cjimrun
I kinda liked Bash and Ashe too.. but besides them, the cast feels really empty. Penelo and Vaan anyone?
I actually prefer Basch to Balthier, though Balthier's still awesome. I like that Basch was a classic "Knight" archetype obsessed with duty and honor. Ashe and Fran rule too. I liked Fran cuz she was an Elf-like character and Elves have never played a decent role in FF. Vaan and Penelo are really nothing special, but I think the cast as a whole is one of the stronger ones.
That's why I like Basch and Fran. Asch is pretty cool also. Couldn't stand Vaan. He was kinda annoying.I agree with you about FFXI and FFXIV. I think you might like playing FFXII. It's pretty good. The only character from FFXII that I didn't like was Vaan. All the other FFXII playable characters I liked a lot.I need to go and get FFX and FFXII. Only ones in the main series I haven't played...except FFXI, but that doesn't count and neither does XIV.

[QUOTE="magitekk"]But none of that s*** really exists anymore. The Japanese are pretty much as modernized as we are.cjimrun
Woah now. Buddhist and Shinto practices are still a very large and influential part of Japanese culture. And though their technology and fashion trends may be edgy, their society is still geared towards communion over agency...the people over the person.
Well, that's true. The Buddhist and Shinto practices are an important part of the Japanese culture.[QUOTE="JadeTorchwood"][QUOTE="Balmane"][QUOTE="magitekk"]Stereotypical? Doubt it. Don't you people have this ridiculous rule that if you're tall enough to sit on a bar stool, you're able to drink?angelbless
No, that's being stereotypical lol. I never heard that one before though lol. That made me laugh.
It's strict over here. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to drick and if they are caught, the person who sold or bought those drinks for the younger folks will be fined.
Yeah, I think that's the same here in the United States also. But then again, some of the underage drinkers here have fake ids.Well I have to admitt that they dont control that too much here. I remember one time when I was 16, there was a trouble involving 11 years old kids, that got drunk and ended up sleeping on the street. Sadly if you have the money, most people will sell alcoholic beverages to you... they do fine the people who sold them, but its a small percentage. :(
That is disturbing that some 11 year old kids are getting drunk. The age limit they have on how old people should drink and smoke doesn't stop teenagers.[QUOTE="magitekk"]Stereotypical? Doubt it. Ah you believe that stereotypical view.... Well you will be surprised when you get here how it actually is.
I heard that they drink a lot in Germany.. didnt know the stereotypical view of Ireland :P
I had an uncle who was from Germany.
