The only logical reason it would release in episodes is because the game is clearly not finished yet. The only way to release it is in parts.

So the game is no were near funished. And because of time, they release in episides. This way the game IS not delayed. You might get a complete game around 2020 then.

You can pretty much kiss a new zelda game goodbuy for the wii-u. I think that game is already ported to the NX already. They need it there to sell systems. So....after starfox and twilight princess...there is nothing. NOTHING!

That's what they tell you now, but that's what's gonna happen. Nintendo doesn't have the man power to support three devices. Especially without 3rd party support.
