ok thanks. But what is better between these. 2 8800GT cards on SLI with 1 gb memory each or 2 Radeon HD 4870 Cards 512mb each

Forgot to mention, I have an old video card in, the newer one burned up so we had to stick the old one in, I'n not sure of it's specs and if anyone could tell me how to check it would be greatly appreciated.
