For you it might be but for me it's not. The unchartered games are good but hold your hand too much. It's all set pieces. The writing/script and the shooting/movement mechanic is tops but I think it's not even close to being the best. Anyone that played system shock 2, half life 2 etc know that. I have to say in terms of buzz and possibility i'm digging lbp2. I think creatively it's unpredictable on all levels which is how it should be. Uncharted for me, when you are not shooting is holding your hand and this displeased me

The move is better. The Motion plus SHOULD have been implimented from the start and the fact you can't patch games after is a love of bollocks. I'm suprised people are more pissed about this because abit more paitence and the wii could have been a BETTER console then it has been inspite of having good games.

Reading some of the arguments is always interesting, how despirate some people are to get one over someone else. The wii has better games! Well yeah, that's to be expected. I've played both and IF software developers have the imagination to utilize the hardware and IF it's done 1 to 1 motion (avoiding the **** that is racket sports) then it wins. You can't beat that immersion. It's a tighter control, it feels better and the fact they can patch games is a major bonus.

Personally I have a wii too and you can pick and choose your experiences. Why people 'defend' a company is weird. It's a business. It's not your brother. The move is a great thing. It's not something you have to use every five minutes to justify buying one. It's all about the feel. Who's ever been arcade and played a racing game? It ain't the same on joypad or joystick or keyboard. That's why people buy steering wheels. It's why they want one with feedback.

The technology is fine and sony have done a good job and it is BETTER then the wii remote/motion plus but it's all about the games and how software companies impliment the technology.

Contact Microsoft. If you can prove it, that might be your best bet

i can only speak for the one I have but it seemed ok to me. It will be cooler no matter what because it uses less power etc. Just remember if you do buy a new one to keep it well ventilated

i just have a few questions lads and i'm snowed under at work :(

When you've requested repair and ups to deliver the printed labels, can i just stick them on there and then, ask for a reciept and give it to the guy or or do I have to set up collection myself?

Also inside the box is the 360 and outside my address and service request number. Is that all I have to do? I've not seen the labels. When they come do I put them on the side I wrote my address?

Cheers Fellas

Hi guys,

I'm alittle uncertain. My xbox 360 broke so I had to call to organize repair. I requested they send the prepaid lebels. Now when the ups guy comes, do I stick the labels on, ask for reciept and hand it over to him or do I have to call ups myself? I meant to ask the woman but it slipped my mind

cheers

already did a email also calling tomorow morning thanks ya

ChrisMoneyMaker

I'd personally call them too. Ask who signed for it. Say you want the person who delivered it questioned, and then he/she can go back to where they delivered it and deliver it to you

If it's a different name that signed for it then stress there is no one called *** where you live, you did not sign for it and it's up to them to question the guy and ask him/her why he delivered it to someone who's name is totally different to the person purchasing the games..etc

goodluck

[QUOTE="RoganSarine"]Azzez... How forceful were you over the phone? If it's not signature delivery confirmation... You have insurance for that.azzezino
wow man, it's been 2 years and I really don't remember much. I blocked that out of my mind. I think I still have some of the emails regarding the purchase, but it's been 2 years so I think it's safe to say they won. :(

claim you suffer from amnesia and blackouts lol.2 years is a long time but in future remember to stay on top of it. It's the dangers of buying online

I've been conned too down the line, most have. I ordered something awhile a go, it never came so I called the delivery place up and ask. They said it was signed for earlier in the day (thankfully the person never signed my name)...so I explode :) and they get on to the delivery guy and i got it an hour or so later.

It's really important to stay on top of things and if someone messes up make sure they know exactly what you think. The truth is, mail does get lost and some will get stolen and some will get delivered to the wrong address etc

Are the controls the same in the full product as they are in the demo? Has there been any patch released?

I come from pc background but the controls are horrible. For me they distract from the overal 'experience'. It looks great, i'm sure there is a lot to be enjoyed there - and to be fair it took me awhile to get used to resistance 2's controls but I just think using the two sticks is too flimsy and while i've no problems with the left stick, the right feels awkward to me (that's the looking up down etc) so it ends up being jerky which takes you out of the whole thing

That said maybe i'll get used to it. I hope so
