Now what mike said is fine....but my definition is different - that is all. Hardware wise it's dead. In shops - all they have are second hands etc. In terms of games there's more chance of Mike getting laid then us seeing a new game anytime ever. So what? What is the big deal? If you read the forum it's nothing new.

Mike offered the bleak reality where as I didn't. If you buy an xbox and don't play the best games - you can't critisise the system can you - likewise if you haven't played all the games then whatever way you want to look at it - to me it's not dead.

It's very simple. High end pc's are more powerful then xbox360's so i'm not exactly typing out of hope and damn you condesending people trying to say oh just cause we say xbox is still ok it must mean we're sad and we have to upgrade right away....

It's a differering point of view. Me i'm not bothered either way. For someone asking will their be new games it's a no...or is it any use anymore - sure it is. It's a better system then the ps2. I'm not disagreeing that it is dead in the sence of production etc

Logic states - if you own a system that's stopped producing games and you've only played 20% of the games available then on a technicality there are 80% new games for you to play. Sure it's bending the truth alittle - but damn you sound like the life and soul of the party Mike. Are you? :)

No but you know I wouldn't call it dead. It has 450+ games for it - just because they're not 'new' means little. I mean there's always something else to play that you haven't played

I just got an xbox second hand and talk or it being put in the closet by some kinda gets me thinking. Why? Have you played every good game on the system? Just because a system maybe better - it seems strange to confine to history your xbox

I had an einstein. What's that you say? Exactly! It was out before the Amiga or was it after hmm. The point is, in my lifetime we only saw one frigging game made for it which was cluedo - cause no sod had heard of it :) Now I'd consider that a dead system

Xbox maybe old finally - but it's the games that make the system. Why do you think people still play tetris and the link. It's not all about bragging rights. I personally LOVE buying after the initial 'bang' because there's no waiting, the games are cheaper and you have a whole library to pick from - plus you know the good games from the bad

I know this is slightly off topic and I answered the question ..well after the first word :) but let's keep it alive which it still have something to offer. Happy new year all
