You guys don't see what he means. He means... even if he's not going to use netflix, he still has to pay for it. I agree that somethings should cost money to help support the company but damn, microsoft IS the company and this company doesn't need anymore money. Anyway yeah, they should make a slight split off somewhere, maybe even right down the middle.

Who here has forgot about the Kingdom Hearts series??? I haven't seen a single post on it yet.

Again, it is Square Enix.... but it's also Disney. So far it's primary games have all been Sony and as far as I'm concerned it's one of the best RPG's out.

And about people threatening to sell PS3? This isn't sony's fault. They don't own the game they just provide the player and try to bargain with companies for the best price. Square Enix did it for profit... and honestly I most likely would too... because..

because... because... I know....

Most of us will remain loyal! We know this isn't the end.

Saying FFXIII would be exclusive and then pulling it does hurt but who cares if it is going to the Xbox?? Let's all buy FFXIII and outsell xbox sells worldwide!!!!! This is the reason why they went to Xbox anyway because they figured it would bring them more money. Actually... this is the only thing we can do now. I'm not selling my ps3.

Sony's gonna slip the secret envelope under the door tomorrow.... let's all wait and act surprised when in your hearts you know THIS YEAR IS DIFFERENT!!! When a company announces that they have been changing their gear more towards games... then this announcement is at least 3-4 years in the making. Big companies don't just say crap, they mean it.

3 more hours. Just three more.

And just for information.... I have an Xbox 360, Wii and PS3. I don't like any company winning..... Less competition means less quality..... But in my honest opinion.... PS3 is just getting started....

No like I said it only outlines the right sides of things meaning that if I move the character or camera just a little bit the green dots are gone and have moved to a different area.

Ok well I'm posting this thread on PS3 and audio/video hardware discussions.

So here is my problem.

I just bought a 47" LCD TV with Full HD 1080P and a PS3. It was working nice as I was playing GTAIV.

But then I noticed him... its not 1080P, so I searched the internet and found out to disable the other resolutions so I did so.

After doing that I was happy but then started to notice something.... green dots outlining things.... around the sky around the people around the fog around everything.... I thought it might be the wire but wouldnt 720p also messup if it was the wire?

I searched everywhere and can't find anything linked directly with the problem.... although I did find a post about someone saying something about the allignment of pixels being off or something? If anyone has this problem or knows a way to fix it or anything at all.... please let me know.

*EDIT* I forgot to say that the green dots only outline the rightsides of things. It is never on the left side. Such as the letters in the PS3 menu.

I only read about 3 or 4 of your sentences and already see that you have no clue what I'm talking about.

People say the PS3 is comparable in graphics only because companies don't know how to use its resources correctly. Instead they are using on bloom effects and AA that alot of people either don't like or care about.

This uses alot more power. Anyway, again, I didn't read what you typed and i'm not going to hahah, fan boy.

I'm happy to be a middle man and that's where i'll stand. Facts and facts alone.

BTW you're old.

~edit~ Ohhh and how do I know your a fan boy? look at all your ratings, nothing but Xbox. Haha.

It's not about sitting a foot from your T.V. its about having a 50" TV.

I hope you enjoy seeing the great quality on a 21" and then find a good deal on a big TV and get disappointed. :p

And all you that are adding negative comments are fan boys of a different system :p lol. I'm not a fan boy of any system. I'm just trying to point out things people have missed.

~Edit~

Forgot to say something about the bloom effect. It was one of the main reason's Fable was popular.

Don't blame the ps3, Assasin's Creed and Orange Box looks mighty fine. Also there is another effect that people don't seem to be thinking about that contributes to the ps3 being a little blurry. The bloom effect. This effect is widely used in famous RPG's such as Oblivion, The Witcher, Overlord, and Gothic 3. This is another reason that the games look more blurry and a little brighter.

Well, I've been viewing alot of the posts about the differences between xbox360 and ps3 and one thing that I've seen a LOT of you missing/overlooking is.... anti-aliasing. In every picture that I've seen in comparison it is quite easy to see the difference. The ps3's anti-aliasing is MUCH better.

And, if you don't know much about anti-aliasing take a look at the picture in Orange Box of xbox ps3 comparison round 3. Then look at the power lines..... See those jagged lines? that's 360. See those really nice lines that are clearly visible all the way through? thats ps3. That's anti-aliasing. Try buying Crysis for your computer and playing it normally then crank up your anti-aliasing to max and watch your frame rate go to hell and back.

I'm not a fan of any system right now, but I can clearly see the difference.

Also.... the picture size is quite odd too. I always play my ps3/xbox360 on a 7" wide screen lol. You think they both look the same on a 50" wide screen tv? Not a chance. Again... especially with the anti-aliasing....

Pictures don't capture frame rate either.

As for what the best system is... maybe 360 right now just because of games but in the future ps3 is looking nice.

Both systems are great regardless. I'm still waiting for VR!
