I am considering getting a PS3 but I find the current price a bit much when I already have a xbox 360..

It's £280 which is about $540.. So that's $140 more expensive

What do you think the chances are they will drop the price?

Gears Of War

I got it in January 07 and it was the only game I played really till september 07 when I got RROD lol I played it online nearly everyday and must have gone through the story 5+ times on co-op etc!! Then when my xbox came back i've been playing COD4 online till GTA4 came out so i'd say

1st - Gears Of War
2nd - COD4
3rd - GTA4

Bought this year:
GTA4
Assassins Creed (Just remembered I got it this year lol)

Going to buy:
Gears Of War 2
Splinter Cell ConViction (If it comes out)

Not many other games really intrest me atm.. I'll wait and see :D
Im probably going to buy a ps3 though

I think the PS3 version will sell more, although I'm going to be buying it for the 360 :P

For me Gears of War was great, it was the only game I really played online between Feb 07 - Nov 07. Even when Halo 3 came out I still went back to Gears. Since COD4 came out I have hardly touched it :( Only played it for the split-screen and it feels very average now. Thats not to say it isn't a great game though, it's just COD4 has spoilt me :P

COD4 all the way for me. I got halo 3 aswell, I enjoyed it but couldnt really get into it..

Suppose another reason is:
September: Bought Halo 3
October: Xbox 360 broke
November: COD4 came out just before my xbox was fixed

I havent touched halo 3 since then so I might give it another go next week!

there's been no word as to whether or not the content will be free on pc. non official maps & mods are of course free on pc. i'll probably end up paying for it so long as it's no more than around 400 points. i very rarely buy stuff off xbox live anyway so it's not as if i pss my money away on it.
