Resident Evil games from the start was on the Playstation brand..Resident Evil 1, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3..so its obvious that Resident Evil 4 will make its way to the ps2..even though they said it was only exclusive for the gamecube..but they lost it i guess..and now resident evil 4 is mulitplatform..Devil may cry is a different story it wasnt on the gamecube or xbox..so capcom is keepin devil may cry exlusive only to the playstation.
Final Fantasy and Nintendo ring any bells?
The sad fact with that is Square Enix has so far seen the success of the PSP and PS3 versus the Wii and DS so they have already jumped ship back to Nintendo because they know that they will make the most money from Nintendo machines then they will with Sony products. The DS has sold around 40 million units versus the like 22 million that the PSP has, fanbase wise the DS is going to bring them the most profit for the number of units sold just like the Wii is selling more then the PS3 at the moment. I mean yea big name titles like FF13 will no doubt be on the PS3 but everything else that Square probably does will be Nintendo exclusive just like the old days.
I´m not saying that FF13 will ever grace the 360 just that you should not take a company for granted just becouse the series orginated to a specifik console.
