Whose with me on this one? Wouldn't the PC gaming market be in a much better position if it wasn't for Intels extreme integrated graphics crap? They claim to be pro PC gaming but it is only regarding CPUs, their integrated chipsets have probably caused more damage than consoles and piracy possibly could.

I was watching a friend play on his laptop the other day. He was running HL2 faily well at max settings on the laptops native 1280x800 res, after that he played a little Portal at slightly reduced settings, then he messed around in Spore on reduced but playable settings and then finished with a little UT3. Not bad for an integrated Geforce 8200 huh?

I was watching this and I was thinking what if Intel cared enough to give their integrated GPUs this sort of performance? What if the bare minimum retail PC was capable of enjoying Source engine games and some other games on reduced settings? Actually being able to play these games as opposed to a slide show at the lowest possible visuals?

Could you imagine what that would do for the potential PC gaming install base? If every single PC sold today would at least be capable of playing casual games fairly well? If a minimum visual bar could be targeted in all games that guaranteed playability on every single PC purchased?

Intel is the only one in a position to do this, yet they continue to flood the market with useless for gaming integrated chipsets which they claim only cost as much as a Starbucks coffee.

Well if I had the money, then Id probably buy:a gaming PC, and a Wii. I wont bother with 360, since PC would be somehow dominant.(I have 60g Ps3, a semi reliable PC for gaming and a PSP. My brother has a DS.

Also if you have more than one console that doesnt nescesarilly mean you arent satisfied with the other. It can also indicate wealth, or if you have a PS3 and 360, the PS3 maybe used as a BLUE-RAY player. Also people may like different games on different platforms so they get 2 consoles. So on.

Last 2 were 9?Maybe GTA but not MGS. Big fan of both but I felt ROCKSTAR went too far with the realism of GTA. Anyway I think these are the games that deserve a 10 for sure:
