@Atzenkiller: Are you trolling? They said a lot of things and people held them accountable for the things they said, something consumers should do more often. Stop allowing publishers/developers to market games in deceptive ways like they do. I hope you're part of CDPR's Marketing team and actually getting paid to do this, otherwise this is embarrassing.
@Thanatos2k: That's how computing is now a day, nothing is truly archived unless you keep it on a local system outside of the internet. Eventually developers will release updates that will break whatever you have and you'll have to start all over or update.
I will admit that owning physical copies of games on the Switch was pretty cool while I had it, but that's literally your only choice because you can't have more than 2 or 3 games on your Switch at once.
Also Amazon gives the best prices for Switch games because they do 10% off on preorders and other promotions like that which you won't typically find at other retailers. It's probably why the Switch games sold so well compared to everything else.

It's gotten to the point where these services are no longer consumer friendly, tons of trash and a higher price than ever before, the 8 dollars Netflix from 5 years ago would be a hundred dollars a month today and if it had came out back then for a hundred dollars a month no one would've paid for it and it would've imploded on itself.
Literally every one of these companies gives people free things just to coerce you to download their trojan software. Why do we need this many launchers for ONE PLATFORM, could you imagine if Xbox was the same thing?
- Steam, BattleNet, RockstarGameLauncher, GOG, Origin, UPlay, Amazon Game Launcher, Stadia, Epic Game Store, Microsoft App Store, Bethesda Launcher.
Which developer is going to think their eco system needs it own launcher next? Square Enix? Could you imagine if this monstrosity of an ecosystem was allowed on consoles? Making accounts for all these companies to play different games, having to open and close different launchers every time you wanted to play a different game?
PC gaming like Netflix was an amazing experience, until companies started investing in it, I honestly wish they'd stop now. Just leave, and all the people caving into these variety of launchers are only promoting this trash where their data is being sold to every one left right and sideways and then they wonder why they have so much spam in their email and calls on their phone.
@Sound_Demon: I enjoy real debates, I can only dream of a future where all political debates are just hosted on the Joe Rogan show or something and they get to duke it out for four hours straight, that would be real content and everyone will be satisfied.
@Duttyhandz: That's the point, they aren't paying anything outside of buying the game. It's a similar thing, once this gets passed this now turns into digital ownership rights, if you do not have the right to use what you bought to make money in your own way it is not technically yours then.
@Dilandau88: It takes more effort to get out of bed at a scheduled time, drive to work without being late, deal with non-stop work flow for the scheduled time and then repeat this without choice then to sit at home and edit videos and set up a stream on your computer at your own leisure. Sorry you don't like facts.
Every millennial in the world probably knows how to set up a stream, there is not much to it and it's gotten so easy now that I bet boomers could even do it if they looked into it.
Just because a job is menial does not make it easy, lifting rocks up and down stairs is menial it doesn't mean you'll want to do it because it's difficult. You talk about a robot flipping burgers lol, fast food isn't making robot cooks yet and it ain't going to be happening for a while. This is coming from someone who designs and programs these robots you're talking about.
