The GameCube is officially dead, but doesn't every GameCube owner (or previous owner) have a Wii by now? :Pryan_returns29

You know, some of us are not able to just go off and but a new system every time one comes out. So what you said just doesn't add up.

Oh my gosh. You see, this is why I hate posting. Like I said in the last message, I don't want any trouble. I do like OoT. I just think that it is not worthy of a perfect 10. It was a litlle boring to me. And even though I like it, that doesn't mean that I would want to play a second time through. And MM was more like work to me than anything. Although I thought that it was somewhat more entertaining than OoT. That is my opinion. All I wanted to know was simply why yall thought that it deserved a perfect 10. That's all. And if my opinion makes you mad or makes you want to call me a liar, then so be it. I don't have to prove myself to yall. All I wanted was your opinions. Not crap.

O My Gosh. Allow me to rexplain myself for the 100th time. I got and played OoT and MM way back when they 1st came out.  Then for Christmas my Mom bought me the collecters disk for my Cube. I did like them then and I still do now. Yall think that I hate them. I don't. I mean come on, its Zelda. I just don't think that those 2 r all that great then or now. OoT to me certainly doesn't deserve a perfect 10. It was just somewhat dull. No not becuase of the old graphics or old gameplay methods. It just had some boring parts to it. Actually to me, a lot of it seemed more like work than it did playing a game. A lot of it did. Ecspecially in MM. With the whole 3 day deal. I wanted to kill myself. It bugged the crap out of me. But TP and WW are not like that. They don't bore me and they are so much fun to play,  That's just my opinion. I dont want 2 get on here and get in to it with people over a video game. That is just stupid. I just simply wanted to no y yall liked OoT and MM so much. Y they r like video game Gods to yall. I just don't see it. Now WW and TP on the other hand I love. I just could never play OoT and MM again without commiting suicide. Seriously. So just tell me y yall like them. And for the love of God, read before yall freakin write. I mean come on. I wrote that I played them when they 1st came out and I have poeple writing me and saying that I don't like them because I just now played them. For Gods sake get some eyes. And don't ever call me a lier again. That is nothing but a bunch of kid crap and I am in High School and I don't need that crap. Grow up.

it realy sucks to me? r u shure there buddy? maybe u need to go get ur head checked because all I see is an arrogent person who doesn't now what the heck they r talking about. and TP did bring some new stuff 2 the table, ecspecially in the graphics. The new, better fishing system with diferent lures and types of bait u can use. Changing between man and wolf. I don't think that has ever been used before. The new, better horseback combat system. The new or improved items (ex. the hurricane boomerang). The whole twilight realm business. new, different types of sidequests or mini-games. The differnt attacks that u can learn from the anctient worrior. long, interesting storyline with deep, long dungeons. the Cave of Ordeals which brought farries to areas. All of that plus more with an absolutely beautiful and in depth, detailed environment that alone makes u want to play the game. The game does have suprises and is fun. An even if some of the game resembols OoT, it should complicate it by being better and more detailed. And it should also bring u fun memories of playing OoT back when it 1st came out. It is not a bad game, and to me is awsome. But I don't have the time to get in stupid agruments with people over nothing. So please people, keep on giving me ur opinions, but don't try to belittle me or say crap about me, because all that does is make u look stupid.

[QUOTE="JellyfishMan"]

Tell me y everybody thinks that TP is not very good and has no soul or heart. Y? I love it. It's long, fun, beautiful, has good graphics, and has a great story line.

Shirley_Temple

Those things don't give a game heart, great writing, excellent pacing, memorable moments, and wonderful characters, all standard in Zelda (except Wind Waker, which didn't have very good pacing near the end) were few and far between in Twilight Princess, was there any boss that made you stop in your tracks and say "wow"?  Was there a bevy of characters that all felt unique, motivated and important?  Was the game paced so that any time something bordered on becoming tedious, the game radically shifted?  Is there a single memorable line in the game that's found in the main quest?  Are the Dungeons set up so as rather than making them lame switch hitting obstacle courses, the puzzles make you think, plan and then execute?

My answer to all of these questions was "no" while playing Twilight Princess, however it was Yes in MM, OOT, and Most of WW.

In fact, I'm going to say something most people DON'T: Twilight Princess isn't Zelda-y enough, the only thing that reminded me I was playing a Zelda, was the mute hero.  Everything else felt like your average adventure hack and slash.

My answer to all of these stupid questions is YES.
