I actually posed this argument to my mother once. She's a very devout christian (doesn't believe in evolution, and all). She gave me the same retarded "God works in mysterious ways" thing, which essentially equates to "God works in stupid, irrational ways," should he exist.-Makaveli-
But if it's beyond human wisdom, you can't understand it. That doesn't mean "Makaveli may remain to understand while other humans don't". When you realize it's not possible to understnd in our current state, only God can answer your questions.
And still, how can there be free will if God knows everything. If he knows everything then he must know what a person does before they do it, therefore every action of everyone's life has already been set.Insane00
That's getting into the scientific theory of fate, which can be abolished if a working time machine is created. So those ends are still extremely loose.
[QUOTE="Jenuma"]My thoughts are this. Note, I will not open this thread again after stating the following because I feel I must reply to every message and I get too behind to keep up.
There is evil in the world, but people are not evil at birth; they must undergo a stage of understanding at a certain point in which they discover evil. At this point, the person can either try to commit mostly good deeds or mostly bad deeds. You follow the same type of life-style in True Crime: Streets of LA.
People do bad things, but God doesn't make people do bad things. People brought evil into existence, not God. You don't want to clean up after someone else who made a big mess, would you? Why should God? He gave the first people an order. Following this order would have prevented the existence of evil and the knowledge of evil itself.

But isn't it God's fault for making people imperfect and wasn't Satan the first true evil?
I don't want to go back on what I said, but I think I'll try to stay as long as we're organized. Yes, Satan was the first true evil, but Satan wasn't created evil. He was part of the cherubim, the angels, and he sought to overthrow God.

I used to make a point to argue in every Christian related thread, but there's a new one every half-hour.
[QUOTE="Jenuma"]I didn't even think of all the good Adult Swim and Midnight Run shows. Cowboy Bebop, Robot Chicken, Futurama...Hallenbeck77
Futurama is going off the air at the end of this year on Adult Swim. It's being moved to Comedy Central in 2008.
So I heard. Of course, Comedy Central's fine with me.
Pete Wanat made an example of how bad half-assed licensed games are with South Park.
*hurls*
Courage and Cow and Chicken were pretty good too. I sort-of liked Ed Edd and Eddy.
