@OMGUPOS @Jerell_rast My point is, that if you're going to make changes to your hardware at the last part of development, in this case after your E3 announcment), you probably won't get enough time to test the hardware. Who do you think is gonna get the short end of the stick (again)?
I disagree. They tested the demand for the console through various means, such as pre-order trends, polls and other data and noticed that they were gonna suffer massive losses if they continued on that track. Microsoft was focused on one thing, money. And as soon as they noticed that they ain't getting any, they were forced to make these changes under the "consumer feedback" alibi. Who in their right mind decides to overclock their product to meet a competitor's? Have they learned nothing from RROD?
@snugglebear Exactly, I was also a proud owner of the first version of the PSP. Had games like FF tacticts and Coded Arms, but then the software just, stopped :/.
