I am going to buy a new component cable because I think mine broke somewhere in the wrapping. Can I go with a third party cable and have the same quality. My tv is really only 480i but I am thinking long run because I will be graduating college soon and will buy a HD soon after that. Or should I get a Svideo cable instead. I would get the M$ one but I would also like to pick up Forza 2 and don't have enough money to get both Forza 2 and M$ cable. Please help me out.
This may be a bit clearer. I just tried hooking my Gamecube through the same inputs and the Cube worked. My Xbox has all green lights on the system and power supply. However I have no picture other than purple line dots that race across the screen. The Red and green wires when plugged in show no sign of problems but when I go to plug in the blue cable I begin to see the purple dots. Could this be caused by a short in the red/green/blue cables?
I have checked all my cables. Tested other electrionics in the inputs and they work. When I went to turn on my Xbox this morning I played for a couple of minutes and the screen goes a little green so I turned off my Xbox. I turn it back on and I get purple dots moving from left to right. What do I do?
I bought 48 NES games at a auction this weekend and MEGACOM was in the box. I had never seen this title before. I know it has 110 demo games and was made by Supervision...any thing else I should know about it? I have been looking around the net and cannot find anything.
