I am sick and tired of newtorks cancelling great shows! e.g. Jericho, Drive, Invasion, The Nine, Firefly e.t.c., Imean what are the networks thinking sometimes? Jericho had and still has a massive fanbase, they never gave drive a chance, cancelled after 4 episodes! how can they come up with an excuse that the ratings were poor when they only aired 4 episodes! they didnt even give it enough time or publicity to get it good ratings!
If they never cancelled Firefly, it would probably still be airing now! or at least had 2,3, or even 4 seasons, instead we get a movie! themovie was good i give them credit for that but all they done was kill off characters! they could have done so much with that show! and the same with the others i mentioned above!
Invasion was an awesome show, with a great unique story, but the cancelled that aswell, i know that that had a fanbase aswell, i just dont get how they decide uppon cancelling a show that millions of people watched, we watched the 1st seasons all the way through (well ones that they gave a full season too), leave them on cliffhanger endings with lots of story unclosed, and then they decide to not make a 2nd season, but they still release the 1st seasons on DVD, with no added extra's to tell you what would have happened, as they muct have had scripts and plot lines already made for the show, why cant they just even give you some information from that!
But NO! they just cancel good shows and put utter crap on in the timeslot, e.g. Jericho has been cancelled and its time slot is being filled with Kid Nation! Thank god i am from the UK so i dont have to sit through that one when there is nothing left on TV! the networks responsibly or all of these cancelled shows obviously do not care about the fans at all!
