@ScottOakley: That is domestic. He was right with world wide figures.
Overall the movie technically needs to make about 3 times to be considered profitable, but I was reading something recently about how studios keep movies in accounting purgatory and show them to never make a profit. They do this so they don't have to pay back end deals made with people that created the movie.
However, it seemed they put a lot of money into marketing so I'm sure they were barely near break even. The movie seemed to do well in China so there is a world wide market for it. Its a shame though.
This game will be a nice plus to owning a Wii U. Between owning a Wii U and a Playstation 4 I will pretty much get to enjoy the best that gaming has to offer. Despite all the Nintendo hate they receive they do put out some amazingly fun games to play. I never understood the blind favoritism to one company when you can buy from 2 of the 3 and enjoy 95% of gaming for the next 7-10 years.
From what they have shown of the sequel I will not be playing this game. I loved Dungeon Defenders on steam. My friends and I spent untold hours on it and considering the steam sales at one point had the DLC for 75% off I bought a good chunk of it pretty cheap so I didn't feel like I was being ripped off since my friends and I put a couple hundred hours into this.
However, this MOBA clone version looks horrible. Even if it is F2P
This review has no substance in it and you should be ashamed. I can't believe how half assed this is. Who cares about the score once you read how terribly written this was. What a waste of time.
Ah yes, videogames kill. I want to eject my copy of GTA and throw it at someone to make a statement. Now what could I own that would allow me to actually hurt someone? Hmm...I wonder.
