These are great! there is one questiong i have... should i get vista or xp?duffman0hy3a

If you are planning to uppgrade to 4 gigs in the future vista will be a good idea (64 bit), as xp and vista 32 bit can only adress 4 gigs of ram, and they both lock it at 2.75 gigs of ram.

If color mattetrs to your its 6 bit i saw this review
Cons: 6-bit panel, Terrible Banding, Bad Color Repro, etc.
Full user opinion
"I currently own a Dell UltraSharp 2405FPW, and purchased the UltraSharp 2407WFP as an "upgrade" and was planning on using it as my primary display and moving the 2405 to the primary family PC.

That is, until I unwrapped this beast and tried it out. My first impression was one of terrible color reproduction and absolutely horrible banding. Compared to the 2405FPW, it strained my eyes, and everytime I went to a new webpage or viewed an image, my eye would catch the banding, and totally ruined my PC experience. You CANNOT do serious graphics work on this monitor."

  • ms response time;
  • 450cd/m² brightness;
  • 1000:1 contrast ratio;
  • DVI (with HDCP), VGA, Component, S-Video, Composite;
  • 4x USB 2.0 ports, card reader;
  • Those arereally good specs, but it does have low color if that matters to you avoid it.
