tf2 - it has no ending; just the way i like it!
if you consider that the ending is the end of each round, then i love that ending too. hunting and putting down the other team if you win or running away if you lose - simply brilliant!
[QUOTE="SuperBeast"][QUOTE="IMaBIOHAZARD"]this actually might draw people AWAY from the game seeing as it's got a longer name, and thus more likely to lose the attention of ppl (u know, the extremely short attention spans these days)

I disagree, I think if anything this will increase sales. People who don't follow the industry/read gaming news will be able to identify the FEAR name, where as Project Origin is something they've never heard of..
Agreed. And I like sequels with numbers.
most of the best games of all time, according to me, are sequels: bg2, fallout 2, fps: football pro, tf2, tie fighter, diablo 2, doom 2, half-life 2, no one lives forever 2, etc. many of them are better than the original. so that bodes very well for f.e.a.r. 2: project origin.
story - Torment; characters (PC and NPC) by themselves.
role-playing character development: Fallouts.
Arcanum is a great game, but not as good as Tormenet and Fallouts.
none of these games has anything to do with hack n' slash.

this guy seems to know what he's talking about; listen to him, op.
monolith rocks.
i wonder if the delay has something to do with that - they want enough buzz to build and make everyone fully aware that this is the sequel to f.e.a.r.? cuz even now, some people have no idea that project origin is the proper sequel to the game.
among recent games, company of heroes and crysis.
of all time: front page sports: football pro '95, bg2, fallout 1 & 2, red baron, vampire: the masquerade - blodlines, and master of magic.
