Well I will put this in for what its worth, You have to remember we are talking about a few months so far on the ps3's life span and as of now has been a very strong launch for the price of the unite. again the competition has been on the market for some time and have out sold the ps3 in gross but in month by month sales the ps3 is in line to break every other launch for there previous consoles. I might add that HDTV's have also seen an 57% jump in sales over the past 4 months and this has much to do with the system. Theres no need to worry if you are a PS3 owner the system will not flop in fact as the figures are showing all signs point to another good run for sony.
Sorry to burst your bubble but halo will never be a GREAT FPS. its a good console fps that's it PC's will always keep the FPS RTS MMO hall of fame. R.Fom is a good fps with a fair story but its by no means great i would say its on par with halo in that it is a good console fps and fun to play. apples and bannana's are both good in there own way always remember that.
The argument of this is better or that is better is never going to stop. As some one pointed out its the Pepsi vs coke debate. I had a 360 for a few months it overheated on me and i really didn't see it being worth another 300 dollars. I have sense went to the PlayStation I loved my ps2 and my ps3. IMO i see the ps3 starting slow as does everyone else but I'm guessing many of you are not old enough to remember the PS1 and PS2. launch but i am and the went just like this. you have to remember this is a japanese company they do not do business the same as you would see in the states. in time you will see them really turning the gears rolling game after game as time passes. I'm no fan boy by any means im just a gamer and found the PS3 is more for me. If your a 360 fan this is fine You will have fun with your console im sure.. and so will I.
