@amdreallyfast Indie games do get "10's" on Gamespot. They just don't get the notoriety as the "8 great" AAA titles thus far.

@Neo_Sarevok Nintendo's open world new Zelda game is showing a lot of promise as well.

I gotta say, I liked the exact decimal score system better. I think that by going by .5's you're leaving a lot of grey area. I would respect a "9.7" rating more than just defaulting to a "10". And yes, I miss emblems.

@Gamer_4_Fun I too am VERY skeptical when I see a 10. But there is a demo on the E shop, and I plan on trying it out.

@skritch It would actually make sense. For example, I've been playing the crap out of Hyrule Warriors for the past couple days (say what you will), and that got an 8. And to be trumped by a 2-6 hour game seems a little lame. I hope you can understand my point.
