not that it is extremely complicated but i need someone who knows what they are talking about here since i want my ps3 and tv to be running the best it can

so heres what i have:

Samsung LN-S4095d (40" 1080p tv)

PS3 with HDMI connected to tv

Samsung ht-q45 5.1 surround sound system with optical cord running to ps3 (still in process of shipping)

so...is my ps3 good to go? do i need a cord from the surround system to the tv?

So im pretty good when it comes to tv info since all the research and work i did in getting my tv but i blow when it comes to home theater systems..anyways heres whats up:

i currently own a 40" 1080p samsung tv

its hooked up to my ps3 via hdmi

My question: what else do i need to get the surround system to hooked up to my tv? do i need another HDMI cord to get the best sound? does the system even have a HDMI slot? thanks for the help
