I haven't found any help from google or my local pc shop so I thought I'd see if anyone had any insight on here.
My pc is restarting itself in just about any game I play. Typically it happens before something loads or when a ton of things start to happen on screen.
I've ran furmark and prime95 to stress everything 100% and my temps are fine. I've run temp recording software and when I check the document after the restart I don't see anything concerning. I replaced my Ram with brand new sticks and that seemed to help a bit but the bottom line is I'm still having these random restarts..
I'm not really sure what else I can do short of replacing my PSU or Mobo... But the one thing that I've noticed is that when my wife is gone and I'm home alone with nothing else running but the PC, I can usuallyplay for hours with no problem. But when she's home and we have the xbox, tv, and tivo/dish running.. It will almost always shut off at some point. they're all in the same room so I'd assume they're all drawing power from the same circuit.
I'm no electrical wiz but I'm now starting to think that it may have something to do with the pc drawing too much power from the outlet? if that's even possible? Nothing flickers in the room or anything like that but I'm trying to resolve the issue without having to spend any more money...
Any ideas?
