I haven't found any help from google or my local pc shop so I thought I'd see if anyone had any insight on here.

My pc is restarting itself in just about any game I play. Typically it happens before something loads or when a ton of things start to happen on screen.

I've ran furmark and prime95 to stress everything 100% and my temps are fine. I've run temp recording software and when I check the document after the restart I don't see anything concerning. I replaced my Ram with brand new sticks and that seemed to help a bit but the bottom line is I'm still having these random restarts..

I'm not really sure what else I can do short of replacing my PSU or Mobo... But the one thing that I've noticed is that when my wife is gone and I'm home alone with nothing else running but the PC, I can usuallyplay for hours with no problem. But when she's home and we have the xbox, tv, and tivo/dish running.. It will almost always shut off at some point. they're all in the same room so I'd assume they're all drawing power from the same circuit.

I'm no electrical wiz but I'm now starting to think that it may have something to do with the pc drawing too much power from the outlet? if that's even possible? Nothing flickers in the room or anything like that but I'm trying to resolve the issue without having to spend any more money...

Any ideas?

Sooooo I picked up MOH when steam had the summer sale for it and got it for a good price.

The only real reason thatI picked this game up is for the beta access to BF3. Hearing that the beta will be open, I figure there was no point in buying MOH. BUT I still keep hearing about getting a code of some sort via email for early access to the beta. Any ideas on this?

I cant imagine the weird relationship that has developed between EA and Valve over this whole no steam ordeal. Just curious about if infact these early access codes are going out to MOH owners, if EA will still include the people who purchased on steam, given the no steam ordeal... sooo yeah...

just thought I'd throw that out there

Thanks for the ideas. I'll give em a shot. And on a good note, of the three options, the one about the dragon worked for me. I played all the way through and it brought me back to the guy at the table, and now I'm stuck with the two options - both of which crash my comp.

I purchased the Witcher 2 today and I'm stoked as crap to play it but.... It crashes my computer. Shuts it off and forces it to restart.

It happens at the same point in the game, my save game starts and I'm going up the ladders with the king. I get to the top and it cuts back to me talking to the dude at the table. It gives me 3 options and no matter what one I click on it goes to the loading screen for about 15 seconds, screen goes black as if the game is going to resume, and then my computer shuts off.

It auto-detected high settings for me but I've tried it on medium and low and I get the same result.

I've never had a problem with heat or bad ram...

My specs are intel i7 860 3.2ghz oc, 8g of ram, gtx 560ti, 750w ps

anyone else experience this or any remedies? been searching a few forums with no luck.

have you seen the graphical difference betweem bc:2 and bf3?? the best example of next gen game requirements start with Dirt3. Dirt 2 could run maxed at a very good frame rate on most computers. Dirt 3 has some of the highest recommended setting of any game out there. In my opinion you might be able to run BF3 on low (which is hard to speculate at this point).

I know it may not be in the genre you're looking for but there's a game called World of Tanks - I enjoy it a lot. It's not my first go to game for online but it is free to play and has some decent mmo qualities. It's free, so try it out!

Man. Hopefully you don't play BC2 because you'd be really disappointed in all the teamwork that takes place in that game. Of the 2, TF2 is funner to play - But with options like BC2 out there... It's hard to get motivated to play CS:S or the later..

I have about 170 hours logged in TF2 and I've been playing it since the Orange box came out. It's an amazing multiplayer game, expecially the orange maps like DoD benefitted from. But now that there are more viable options out there - It sits on the backburner.

I freakin loved SP. The puzzles were pretty sweet and the new mechanics (fluid n bridges) were awesome. ****SPOILERRRRRRSSS**** I even felt bad at the end when wheatley 'died'. The music I saw was pretty good too. The game is a perfect compliment to the first.

Even though I'm not worried about myself, they could be biting themselves in the foot as far as appealing to the casual pc gamers go.

If they can capture the amount of fun i had with Vengeance then I will be totally on board. Before that I played tribes on the Ps2 and it blew - Played it maybe once. But I hope they can make a satisfying game out of the new ip
