Solid Snake and Max Payne---but only if you don't have to pay for cigarettes in the game because then that would get pretty costly.

All you people that are saying 9.5 are just halo fanboys because there is no reason to suspect this game to get a lower score than its former gta san andreas. My personal opinion is that they over did everything just incase halo3 cod4 or gow2 overdid everything and it will score 9.5-9.8 lol no way 10 only one game got a 10 from gamespot and that was in 1997.(or something)MrGaines

First, I said that GTA would probably get a 9.5 and I hate the Halo series, so you probably shouldn't generalize like that. Second, as pointed out, the reason people are saying 9.5 and not "9.5-9.8" is because of gamespots new rating system that goes in .5 increments, hence, why no game has been rated on a .1 scale since June 22, 2007 when Band of Bugs for X360 got a 6.3 and Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer for PS2 and Wii got a 2.6. Finally, just a fun gamespot fact: 4 games have, in fact, received ratings of 10--Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 (PS2 2001), Chrono Cross (PS 2000), Soul Caliber (1999 DC), and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (N64 1998).

It is games like this that make me wish gamespot didn't change the rating system. If this game lives up to its hype then it will probably fall in the category of "better than 9.5, but not a perfect 10." However, since it can only be a 9.5 or 10, I'd bet a lot that it will be a 9.5.

After I saw that gamespot gave Viking: Battle for Asgard a 5.0 while the user rating is 8.0, it got me to wondering if anyone knew of a difference between the two ratings as big or bigger than this. 3 whole points of differential is hard to top, but does anyone know of any game that was rated like this for 360 or any platform for that matter?

It really scratched up my NHL 08 in particular. I had to go through about 4 or 5 copies of that.

[QUOTE="Halochief_101"]

They don't break so easily, it's just that people dont take care of them, iv'e had mine since launch and it's working perfectly fine, and if it does ( which I dont ) then I am protected by a 3 year warrenty

usaaaaaa

Yay for denial

It's one of the worst constructed gaming consoles in gaming history. I treated mine like a god and it still got a RROD.

Submit

Yeah i've treated mine equally as good and it still craps out on me, even after I sent it to microsoft. I'm sure some peoples' xboxes break because of bad treatment, but i'd say the overwhelming majority of problems are microsoft's fault.
