That's what I did last time, and everything was fine. I don't know wat it means either. I'm gunna try it again, and if i get that message, I'll call Nintendo.
The only thing I've ever had happen to me is the system would (once in a great while) not read discs. Hasn't happened in some time. Does this happen to many people?

This happened to me a few months ago, and asked the same question. I just fully turned off the Wii to get the red light instead of orange, and that made it go away quickly. Never had to send it in to Nintendo.
NO!:( I went and turned on my Wii to play Brawl with a friend today, and I hit "Start" on the Disc Channel, and it told me that my system's memory had been corrupt. This happened a while ago, so i just restarted, but got the same message. I'm leaving the Wii alone for a while now. I hope nothing is corrupt, last time there wasn't.:(
My Wii's never broken, it is really durable. The only thing that has happened to it was that i load up the Disc Channel and it says my system memory is corrupted. It happen 2 weeks ago, and again last night.
