Well all last week I didn't play games. I don't don't know if it was the medicine I was taking or what but I couldn't play games, my grades were slipping cause of the last week of the trimester but I'm back to playing again.

New classes at school my last I'll ever take in high school and then off to college. I love them so far but I hate my lunch. I have Web Design & Programming 1st hour, Worl History Survey 2nd, US Government 3rd, Desktop Publishing 4th, and Algebra II 5th. I've realized I really love history classes. I was sick two weeks ago. I had flu like symptons and a fever of 103 F but I missed two days of school:D.

I found some really good deals at a local bookfair Saturday. I bought Kindom Hearts for $3 and Shenmue for $2! I'm liking KH but shenmue not as much as I was hoping for. I also got three cheap PS1 games. Then today I bought From Russia With Love (GCN), MX World Tour (Xbox), Duel Masters (PS2), Dragonball GT Transformations (GBA), and Dynasty Warriors Advance (GBA) all at the bargain bin at Best Buy. Also bought Office Space on DVD and Bloc Party's new CD.

Played Wii mulitplayer today. Just played Wii Sports with a bud but it was a blast. Haven't played 360 'cause of the depression or Zelda so haven't progressed in any games besides the ones I just got. I also have a new review up. It's of PaRappa The Rapper 2. It's pretty crappy because I was still depressed when I wrote it and just wanted to get a review out. I plan to begin having at least one review every Sat. or Sun. (pending on future game depressions). My next review might be over Warioware Smooth Moves or maybe The Outfit. I have no idea.

PaRappa The Rapper 2 Review

I finally found a Wii. i found out that Target would be getting them on Sunday so me and my friend decided to get there when they open to make sure we would get one. Well I woke up at about 7 and they opened at 8. We got there at 8:10ish and they had a line for Wii's before they opened. Isn't it amazing that the Wii has been out so long and the demand is till so high and they're shipping alot because they've already cut the 360s lead by 1/3. I also bought Twilight Princess and Warioware and they didn't have any Wiimotes so I'll have to keep looking for those.

Well I've played it for a few hours stright. The Mii's are fun to make. I surfed the internet for a long time, while great to see on a big screen it's not a substitute for a computer and keyboard. Checked out the Forecast and News channels. Wii Sports is definitly a fun multiplayer game though not to deep, Zelda is great and Warioware is fun.

I have a new review up it is of King Kong for the 360. My next review will be of Parappa The Rapper 2.

Before hand I went on a game shopping spree to fill up my brand new game shelf (ran out of room on my first:D) I bought 4 PS2 games, 5 Xbox games, 5 complete Intellivision games, 2 complete NES games, 1 Sega CD game, and of course 3 Wii games. I've also been buying CD's more than usual. I've bought The Prize Fighter Inferno's debut, The Cardigan's First Band On The Moon (not what I expected), and Jimmy Eat World's Futures for only $3.

King Kong Review

I've had to work quite a bit this week. Yesterday was awesome, at work someone tried to steal beer. We have this code you call "Eugene" to the back room but no one who works has a name of Eugene. Then we get people watching the doors. Well he made it out but we got his tags and a few of us actually knew so the manager called and told him he has ten minutes to get the merchandise back. He came back and both managers, the worker who saw him, and three cops came and talked to him in the back office. He was arrested and it turns out his tags on his car were also expired. I'm pretty sure he is going to juvie. What sucks is I know him and he's not a bad guy he just hangs out with the "wrong" crowd.

I got three new games. I bought World Championship Poker (Xbox) and WCP 2 (Xbox) each for $7 new and The Outfit for only $15 used. The WCP games don't work on the 360 and The Outfit is an okay game. It's very fun but not realistic or well designed I guess. I can't describe it. My next review will be over King Kong for the 360 so expect that soon. Might do Heavy Weapon also but my review would like a ten so I might not do it.

I've changed my profile icon. It's now something Coheed and Cambria related. The Super Bowl is over and the Colts won. Congrats to them too bad for the Bears. I don't really care and didn't watch it. School computers are still not blocked.

Well today my school's class times are all messed up because of Freshman testing so I stayed in my first hour for 3 hours, had no second hour, and am now in my third hour. Weel in the last five minutes of my first hour. So I decided to write a review for another game, I finished a review the other day. This time I chose Perfect Dark Zero.

I have been playing King Kong and Heavy Weapon a lot. Almost have all the achievements in HW weapon and about half in KK. KK has also pushed me over the 4000 mark!

Vista was released the other day as most of you know. I watched Bill Gates on The Daily Show Monday and WOW he is a true nerd. His laugh is amazing!

Not much too this blog post just thought I'd do it since I have time. Also I wont be on for the next three days because of work. Maybe Thursday or if the school's computers aren't blocked.

Perfect Dark Zero Review

This will be a short blog post. I just bought King Kong for the 360 and Chibi-Robo for the Gamecube. I also got Heavy Weapon from the 360 arcade. King Kong is great, very atmospheric, Chibi is super Japanesy and Heavy Weapon is just friggin' awesome old school 2d side scroller.

King Kong has an easy list of achievements, just beat the game and Heavy Weapon has a good use of them, some will be a struggle but not impossible hard to get.

I finished a review for Final Fantasy III everyone please check it out. I actually followed guidelines from a school english book on how to write a review so tell me what you think.

I'm getting mp3s from VH1s list of 100 one hit wonders. I got Rockwell's Somebody's Watching Me, The Proclaimers I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles), Divinyls I Touch Myself, Tha Cardigans Love Fool, Thomas Dolby's She Blinded Mw With Science, and Deee-Lite's Groove Is In The Heart. Final Fantasy III Review

Well I haven't been on GS since I don't know when. A lot has changed in that time. Not really:P

I've been addicted to Final Fantasy III for most of January and I've got about ten hours left. The game is good but definitely old school and cliche but I'll have a review soon. When the game originally came out though it probably wasn't cliche and was groundbreaking. I'm almost done with that so I went out and bought Tales of Phantasia yesterday which is another old school RPG. I bought it because Tales of Symphonia is my favorite RPG but ToP doesn't quite stack up but it was the first in the series and had to begin somewhere. I'll get Final Fantasy I & II Dawn of Souls next.

Since I've been playing my DS a ton more I decided to buy a DS Lite and it is so much better then the DS! The size, the light, the buttons. My only complaint would have to that the Start and Select buttons are too small and hard to hit.

My 360 broke and I exchanged it. The problem was the hard drive would give me error messages about every time I started it up but I'd turn it off and then it would work, but then it became corrupted and I lost all my saves and everything else. Well my new one has the same problem so instead of ignoring it I'm gonna send it in soon.

Even through all of this my 360 is still the dominant force. I've beaten Gears of War on the first two difficulties, and went through Insane Co-op for the first two levels. The driving part on Insane sucks so hard! Test Drive Unlimited is very good, there's just so much stuff to do and places to go!

I don't have a Wii but I've decided I'll probably get one in a few months. I have more then enough I just wanna wait til I get a little bit bored of my 360. I can't wait to play Twilight Princess (probably because my sister is currently playing Majora's Mask) and to also get Warioware which got a 9.1 here on GS.

Here where I live we just had a major ice storm last Friday-Saturday and it was so bad I haven't had school all week. This is the worst weather I've ever seen! We have about four inches of ice! My front yard is a skating rink.

Well the holidays have come and gone. How was everyone's break and what all didya get:D?

I got Gears of War, Madden 07 for the 360, Final Fantsy III and Elite Beat Agents for the DS. The Office (season 2), Seinfeld (volume 6), Avenged Sevenfold's City of Evil, Slipknot's Vol.3: Subliminal Verses, a .22 Magnum, a good wallet, some cologne, and some money.

After Christmas I've bought a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live with a camera, Centipede (DC), Dragon's Lair (NES), Solar Jetman (NES), Project Gotham Racing (Xbox), Xbox Music Mixer (Xbox), Gun (Xbox), NBA Live 2003 (Xbox), Serious Sam Next Encounter (PS2), and Sprung (DS). I still haven't paid insurance but I have a few hundred extra dollars that I will save and get a Wii later in the year when I start getting bored with my 360, if that happens:D. I plan on buying Test Drive Unlimited as the next game for the 360.

The Office is seriosly the best TV show I've ever seen, even better than Seinfeld! But if anyone decides to buy a DVD buy the second season. Game-A-Thon 5 is going to be this Friday with 3 games representing each genre. I go back to school this Thursday. I'll probably get my Senior paper back and do the final draft.

With these new games I've gotten my Gamerscore has gone through the roof quickly! Gears, Madden, and Uno have a ton of easy achievements and Robotron has a few.

Holy crap. Coheed and Cambria rocks. They have three major releases amongst other EP's and live CD's but the major releases are all inter connected and tell a story. The story is a sci-fi epic about Coheed and Cambria who are husband and wife, they have four children. To sum it up Coheed has been infected with a universe ending disease and if he doesn't kill his children he will destroy the universe. I can't say much more because I will go on and on. I could write a whole paper over the story. At the bottom is a link for the interpretation of the 2 and 3 cd's.

In fact today was the first day I really researched the story behind it; I always listened to the songs and got some of it, but man I think I will write the lyrics to all the songs myself to get it better and interprept them myself and put them in order.

The reason for all this research was lately they're all I've been listening too. Now I'm obsessed with them! I have to make a music video for a film editing class and it will be Blood Red Summer, not my first choice but the song can't be violent:(. I already have some ideas for it. I'm going to get The Second Stage Turbine Blade this week, I'm going to get a t-shirt, all my school computer backgrounds are of them and my home computer too.

Claudio Sanchez (lead singer) has a side badn now called The Prize Fighter Inferno. This is a prequel to the Coheed and Cambria story and tells the story of Jesse, one of Coheed's sons and how he died during Good Apollo I and was reincarnated on Earth.

On to the game side of things I got a few new games over the weekend for Game-A-Thon 4 which had one less friend then expected, oh well what can you do:?. I bought Quake III Arena for the Dreamcast because that's all we play during lunch at school on the computers. We have these big 10 people lan parties based on Aqua Teen Hunger Force during Quake that are amazing. Well the Dreamcast version of the game blows. It is so much worse I don't know what happened. I also got NHL 2K and NFL Quarterback Club 2000 for the Dreamcast each $3, Q3A was $9.I'm still addicted to Hexic. I finally made a black pearl which at first was hard but now I'm getting the hang of it.

Dragon Quest IX has been announced as exclusive to the Nintendo DS and this actually makes a lot of sense if it look at it. The DS plain and simply dominates Japan as does Dragon Quest.

Not much going on lately mainly work and games.

The past few days I've been addicted to Hexic on the 360. I beat Perfect Dark Zero on easy going through on normal now. I beat the Evolution story on Far Cry Instincts Predator on easy. The story breakdown goes as Instincts Rookie (currently playing) Hunter (beat) Predator (not started), Evolution Rookie (beat) Hunter (not started) Predator (not started). The reason I'm going through on all difficulties is big achievements.:D

I've been listening to Slipknot, Snakes on a Plane, and Coheed & Cambria. I put Coheed & Cambria's In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth:3 on my 360. One of my favorite albums ever!

I had to go into work last night from 7-10 and we moved everything that wasn't bolted down for people who clean the floors at night. I work tonight 4-11.

Tomorrow I'm having a mini Game-A-Thon. Mainly we'll be playing the 360. We'll play Far Cry (360), PDZ (360), Geometry Wars (360), Halo (Xbox), Tekken 5 (PS2), SSBM (GCN), Soul Caliber II (GCN), and Unreal Tournament (DC). I'm having 2 friends over. Gonna buy a cheap 360 controller on Sat.

I bought 3 new games. Unreal Championship II: The Liandri Conflict (Xbox-$4.99), Brute Force (Xbox-$3.99), and MechAssault (Xbox-$4.99). I bought some Xbox games finally and some good ones! Then only problem is that only one works on the 360 and I don't have an Xbox!

Lastly I think I should mention James Kim. I heard the story about him on the news last week before they found him and think what he did was amazing and should be highly revered for it. My condolences go out to his family. R.I.P.

Thursday and Friday were snow days and I've done nothing but play games and make snow forts.:D In my area we got a few inches of snow Thursday and a total of 9-10 on Friday! This is the most I've ever seen.

Anyways I've been pretty much just playing the 360. I've unlocked all the achievements in Madden 06 already so it will be shelved until multiplayer parties. I've gotten into Perfect Dark for the first time since I bought it. I'm blazing through the story and have unlocked 3 achievements totalling 50 pts. I have 2 achievements left in Pocketbike Racers, half in Sneak King, and more than half in Big Bumpin'.

My Xbox Live free month that came with the 360 expired today so I wont be playing online for a few weeks but I do have 8 days worth of Gold, mainly from the Burger King games.

In my English class we've begun work on our senior paper this week. Wednesday I did 5 source cards, my thesis statement and a rough outline. We had to choose a subject that relates with technology. I wanted to do violence in videogames but someone already had it so I'm doing the next-gen of video formats and saying that we don't need them yet. These snow days though have really screwed up the due dates for everything such as 15 note cards Friday, 15 more Monday so I don't know when they'll be due. She had everything planned out for when everything would be due.

Also I think I'm going to start listing my Gamerscore at the end of my blogs from now on.
