But if you mean overrated in the sense that today, in his old age, that he is not as good as he's made out to be that is somewhat true. He is still a top five player however.

Explain the overrated aspect? In terms of scoring he is the most prolific guard in the history of basketball other than Jordan. He has 5 champioships, and has been consistently an All-NBA First team for defense and overall play. He is inarguably the second best guard to ever play the game. (Although I'm a fan of Dwyane Wade and I believe that he will ultimately finish his career in between Kobe and Jordan).
