It would be terrible if it went multiplat, but not cuz it stayed with sony for so long, but because it was (along with alot of ps3 owners) one of the main reasons for me to buy the ps3. If sony losses MGS4 as an exclusive then they're screwed more than they're already are.

Sony should just give them a big bag O'money for the game to stay exclusive or i, along with other ps3 owners, will be exctremely pissed that i bought the damn thing in the first place.

Yep, it would be a big blow to Sony and the fans who bought the system just for Metal Gear Solid 4. Then again it would be their fault for assuming the game would be exclusive. Konami never said the game was never going to be released on other system in the future, they just said it would be on Playstation 3. So ar far as I am concerned those those who complain have no right to. They will get their game that as promised to them all along.

Even if they announced MGS4 being a port on 360 in about 7 hours.

PS3 will have the superior version in the end anyhow.

There is a big difference though. Xbox 360 is what Playstation 2 was, the better selling system. Game developers release games based on install base and popularity of the system not because they like the brand. Expect to see a simultaneous release of the game on both systems.

Ridiculous, there may be a port 6 months to a year but I seriously doubt konami or Kojima has been secretly working on the 360 version in tandem.

What about space on DVD9's? 5 of them?
