setting up a self sustaining city underwater does not keep the species from going extinct like setting up a self sustaining city in space or on another planet would.

the ultimate payoff is huge.

we are one asteroid strike away from extinction so it's kind of a having all your eggs in one basket concept.

Riverwolf007

True, but like I said it could be practice then in another 100 years or so we could actually go into space. Hoping, that we won't get hit by an asteroid for a few million more years.

Who'd want to live in an underwater city?

racer8dan

I think it would be cool to live in that, but you can say the same for Mars or the Moon.

I always wondered why people wanted to build space stations on the moon so much. Yes, it would be pretty cool, but why not go underwater first and build underwater cities. It would get us ready for space cities and be much easier to maintain. I mean we have 75% of Earth that is just water, we should use it and build cities.

how can muslims worship in a building that is also used for christians polytheistic worshipping? epic fail

LJS9502_basic

How are Christians polytheistic? Jesus, God, and the Holy spirit are considered one person in the Holy Trinity.

Christianity is not polytheistic.

I know, I was explaining how they weren't. lol

Crysis 2 for PC, but I am dissappointed there is no editor for it. That was one of the best parts of Crysis 1.

Yeah, and keep using Google to try to prove your point.

In respect to the article:

  • You narrowed it down from "religious people" to "catholic evangelical"
  • Also, its split. Not majority. Not even most of them.

DroidPhysX

Your comment that religious people can't think for themselves got debunked. End of story.

No, your comment that most religious people accept gay marriage & abortion was debunked. And the ironic part is that you debunked your own statement.

What kind of religious peopel are we talking about here? Most Catholics I meet are ok with gay marriage, but are not ok with abortion. It may vary with other Christians.

I'm Roman Catholic, and I think gays should be allowed to get married just not through the Church. Simple as that.
