GTA IV, FF XIII and Fallout 3 were the first games I ever owned for my PS3...don't know anymore which I played first though.

[QUOTE="Tokeism"][QUOTE="hrt_rulz01"]For those who say to just import it, that's a big no-no. If you get caught importing it (unlikely I know but you never know), I think you get a massive fine. hrt_rulz01No, Its not illegal to own / import, its only illegal for an Australia store to sell it. Plus I think customs has more important things to do then stop the importation of a video game I'm sure I read on a document from the classification board that it's illegal to import it as well...
Can only speak for germany and german law, but here, if a game is indicated, you are perfectly fine to still import it, even to BUY it. Ony SELLING and advertising for is forbidden. Buying, owning it = perfectly fine and legal.
Which makes the whole censoring / banning / indicating stuff even more ridiculous...ah well....
Hey,
why not let's talk books this time?
I assume a lot of Terry Pratchetts Discworld Fans are around here as well, so I'd like to know, what are your favorite Discworld characters and why?
For me, I'm going with
1. Sam Vimes, first book I ever read was "Thud" and he's pretty much the definition of badass
2. Havelock Vetinari, because he's a deep any mysterious guy where you can sense his past and how he reached the position he is in now, though without ever being really direct or taking action
3. Rincewind - Because he's Rincewind and I'll have to go now :P

I see that too...Competition is great!! We benefit from it as consumers.
Certainly, but there is a difference between doing what you think you can do to compete with your direct concurrence, or just blindly sitting their and waiting for your concurrent to do something to blindly mimic it because you as a company yourself don't have the slightest clue what gamers actually want.
[QUOTE="Justforvisit"]I'm pretty scatterbrained in this genre, but take a look and see if the Fire Emblem series interests you at all. They are grid based and strategy based.Got me Xcom Enemy Unknown a while ago and Shadowrun Returns recently, are there more modern games in the style of Grid & Round Based Tactical / Strategic Combat. The only other one I know in this field is the ancient "Laser Squad" which I played on my old 3.86 back in the 90's.
So, any recommendations about similar games like these are highly appreciated :)Blabadon
Well, thank you very much! :)

EA for seriously hurting Maxis and BioWare, two once great companies who've been sucked out a lot of Blood by Vampire FEAngs.
But to be fair, since Ricitello has gone and the new guy is in charge EA seems to be on a atonement way. They even seem to learn now when they say the catastrophal launch of Sim City has teached them to make The Sims 4 an Offline playable game again (not that I'm interested in Sims 4, but it's a sign for sure)
But for the past I'm still watching them carefully and will be looking forward to Battlefield 4 and DICE (pretty much the only Studio under EA contract that they have not ruined yet) as a kind of Point of Importance in their further behaviour
