Dark Souls has a great presentation and design. for certain players; it's not for everyone.

their add? what about yours?
i had typed out this big comment, but then Gamespot wouldn't load, thanks Gamespot.
anyways... games back in the old days required more imagination to play, and that's what made it more fun sometimes. but now, video games require 10 times as much imagination just to MAKE the damn thing, so yeah, it's a little different, but really has anything suffered for it. no. games are still fun. i ALWAYS make it a point to use my imagination and interject some fiction into my gaming, apart from immersion... plus, games just look and feel and sound (despite less awesome level music) better then ever now, to immerse yourself in and play in, and the settings and the stories are becoming that more engrossing and the concept of a game's "game design" growing ever more engaging and spectacular. i don't see how anyone can not find a good game to play every single week of the month. broken games are becoming a thing of the past... they're still sadly happening because of poor practices, but nonetheless the aptness for a "bad" game to get any sort of aspiring press is becoming less and less and good games en masse are becoming more and more.in summation, stick with the filing sweet heart.
@Justin_G
You're really proud of that dream eh ?
how can one be proud of a dream? i was enthralled by it, and the idea that i was thinking of about games being more scary or more "nightmareish" in it's setting, was interesting to me, and i thought it be interesting to post here, considering all i see posted here are a: ideas for what people wanna see in games b: talking about flaws and/or advances to be made upon a game one dislikes or doesn't "like enough" or c: talking about the industry and how things are always either failing or "in keeping" with a "good move" on so-n-so's part, for the industry. all of which is stupid... well, with that last one anyway.
what's your problem with my posting that dream thing? i thought people would at least be interested to make a comment about the GAME part of that post, and not the dream part... the dream things led to me having thoughts on games, since it was so alike, hence what i posted. why do you make it out to be so crass? i am maybe taken back a bit by it, because i don't see anyone else's posts getting the shaft, but then again it was probably a case of TL;DR which of course wouldn't surprise me. but that's my problem... what's yours?

this is a concept i'd like to see in video games; true horror experiences.
Yeah there was a thread on System Wars with a link provided that claimed Bethesda won't be announcing anything new at E3. That's where I heard this news first, hence why I said System Wars. I know you should take anything you hear from System Wars with a grain of salt, but there was a link backing up his statement. The thread was titled something like "No Fallout 4 at E3".
Now that's an understatement mate. More like: if people in SW say that water is wet, do not believe it.
Unless of course they have links straight from the source itself backing up what they're saying... and even then you don't believe it, lol.
The links are always a forgery. Never believe anything you hear near SW's tits.
hahaha, Fight Club reference
i cry. crying is good for ya. but i was just shocked that you are on about the lack of E3 presence of a certain video game you wanted, that's all. i'm not tough. i've just got worse things to cry about. sorry.
oh no, a game isn't out on the horizon yet, boo hoo.
Yeah alright mate, you're a real tough guy and I'm an idiot, are you happy now? *claps*
and a shit ton of other really good RPGs that are gonna wipe the floor with the hike quests. those kickstarter games really have me excited... makes me wanna get a new tower altogether, cause my tech is low tech. i don't even have the room for the card, power, cooling and motherboard for these new games, but they look soooo good. Torment: Tides of Numenera, Project Eternity and not to mention Planet Annihilation... all some sublime PC games.
no, i don't. not about games anyway. i want to fully enjoy the fruits of labour that the developers put into it. if the game falters, it falters. if not, then not. flaws and falters do not make a bad game. if the game is unwinnable due to it being unplayable, then i won't enjoy the game and i'll consider it bad. otherwise, i take it as it comes.
