Great game, but difficult, too. Never finished however. Should get around to that... eventually.

Yes this game is very underplayed. Most people I know have never even heard of the Stalker series, but man they are amazing games. I am very surprised that this game is not very popular, but it sure deserves to be.

I just recently got this game and am having tons of fun with it. At first I really wasn't sure if I would enjoy it and I didn't know much about it, but after playing a couple hours of it I absolutely love it so far. I have always liked post apocalyptic games like the Fallout series, so thought I would give this a try. What are your guys thoughts on it ?

I don't really like using the keyboard and mouse so I, use my PS3 controller instead.

I think it was Elder Scrolls Oblivion for me.

I just got STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl and was jsut wondering if I should install mods or not. This will be the first time I have played any STALKER game, so wasn't sure if I should play through normally. Also if I should install mods what one's should I get? So far i have been looking at this one (http://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-complete-2009) Is there any others worth installing for better graphics or gameplay?

If you havn't played Kotor you must get it right now. It was one of the best games I have played in my entire life!!
