IMO Braid, Cave Story, FTL are all must plays.  Then you could safely go with other peoples favorite choices.  Some popular ones are Limbo, World of Goo, Hotline Miama was flavor of the month a little while ago and is somewhat relevant still, Bastion is pretty criticially acclaimed.

I agree 100% with Cavestory and FTL, never played Braid, but those 2 are fantastic!

So what am I missing if I get BL2+Season Pass?Gamartto
Not totally sure what the seasons pass is missing, but I believe there is a few things like the new mechromancer character and the recent Tiny Tina DLC.

Oh, I played that quite a lot when I was 11, which is the target audience. Looks boring as hell now though.

Haha yea so did I, now I look back on it and think what the hell was I doing playing this garbage.

GMG has a pretty good sale going on right now. If you haven't picked up Borderlands 2 yet nows a fantastic time. You get the game and seasons pass 75% off. Also killing floors a good deal if you dont yet have that.

[QUOTE="KABCOOL"][QUOTE="Maroxad"]

What is it you want from an mmo?

RIFT is a good alternative if you want a game.
EVE is a good alternative if you want a world.

Maroxad

I dunno I kind of want to try something other than a typical MMORPG, are there any good MMO's that aren't very similar to WoW or GW2? Doesnt have to be a RPG.

So, like EVE?

What makes EVE Online interesting is how the game is about economics and politics as opposed to killing stuff and getting stronger for the sake of killing stuff and getting stronger. Unlike Guild Wars 2 or WoW, the game offers a fair share of depth and does not hold your hand either unlike the 2 titles mentioned.

Beware of the steep learning curve though, and some people do call it a spreadsheet simulator.

Age of Wushu is another mmo which is hardly in the norm, but it is a bit too unrefined and feels a bit like a beta last time I played.

I might give EVE a try, but as you said it takes a while to learn, also the monthly fee is a downside. I was also thinking of trying out LoL, im usually not a fan of Moba games, but this one seems to get a lot of praise.
