Yea ofcourse, im just sayin im mentioning all of that because its so stupid to think the opposite too, that PS3 is completely out of the loop just because of this year, we'll just wait till next year and see what happens, I personally have great confidence PS3 will sell a lot next year and it'll get a lot of good AAA franchises, but to think that its gonna do bad just because of a slow start is naive.

And to the other post about more then 2 games, I realize those games I was just listing franchises that can go beyond hardcore gamers, if you ask somebody who doesnt play games anymore about Gran Turismo chances are they're gonna know about it because its been around for 10 years, but when it comes to games like Dead Rising or Ninja Gaiden, those imo are more cult fanbase, im not saying they're bad games, Sigma was the first Ninja Gaiden game I played and I loved it, but they're not system sellers like everyone puts them out to be, 360's 08' lineup will be great, JUST like PS3's 07' lineup was great (atleast the second half of the year, the first half sucked badly), just because PS3 didnt get a bunch of AAA's doesnt mean it doesnt have great games right now.

well, it doing bad now DOES hurt it in the long run. Does it mean the PS3 is doomed? No way. But it does affect it's market share. and it sends a message to devs.

Devs wanna make a game that will sell well and make them money. Such as the 360 and the Wii. So it doing poorly now DOES affect it's overall life span, and if it will be a healthy life or not.

Only time will tell though.

I'm interested to see if sony's statement about the PS3 lasting 10 years will hold up or not. That should be interesting.

People forget so fast about the brands that made the Playstation brand so famous, most of which are coming out in 08' which is why its so weird that people think PS3 is dead when its heavy hitters havent even come out yet.

When people think of xbox, they think of Halo, and Gears of War.

When people think of Playstation, they think of Crash Bandicoot, Twisted Metal, Socom, Gran Turismo, MGS, and Final Fantasy.

But if you mean NOW 360 has more AAA's, ofcourse it does, it got a year head start and it uses the same hardware as last-gen so every developer feels safe and secure with it, therefore making more games for it, at a faster pace, not to mention all of 360's heavy hitters have come out already, 2008's 360 = 2007's PS3, a bunch of obscure unproven franchises that nobody really knows about except cult fanbases, other then Splinter Cell.

seriously. what else does the 360 offer that isn't already on the PS3 or PC? and don't even try and mention Mass Flop. we all know that the PS3 will dominate 08' with it's lineup. and the 360 already lost it's ''benchmark graphics king'' GeOW to PC's. and it looks and plays better, not to mention has new chapters.

from what i can see, the PS3 and 360 are evenly matched right now. both have great multiplats out (AC, CoD4, Rock Band) and a bunch of others soon to be released. so why do lems keep on claiming the 360 to be winning? it got a head start, that's ALL. and Halo 3 was it's ''secret weapon''. but finally, this silly little Halo fad seems to be dying out. we can thank companies like CryTek for putting Bungie in their place. Crysis ups the ante for the FPS genre. right now, i'm seeing somewhat of a truce between game dev's, they're all working hard on good multiplats, instead of making shoddy, second-rate ports.

there's probably some 360 AAAE i'm missing, so please, inform me. :oops:

And you're pretty original with the whole "mass flop" thing going. It's still better than most PS3 games. And the "flop" line can also be said for the PS3's titles. Mind you, the PS3's flops are a little bit more...harsh. I COULD use that leverage against you.

But I wont stoop to that level, considering there are so many other way to discredit you and your "rant" or you're "factual statement", which I'm sure you believe your above words really are.

Halo is catered to more noobs also but you seem to over look that. The slow pace of the game says it all. Slow pace + high damage weapons = extremely noob friendly.

you think C0D4 is slow paced...or halo 3 is slow paced...either way you're terribly wrong...Ghost recon is slow paced...

Game doesn't have auto aim for the PC version at least. Doesn't reward campers (Hi uav) and it takes a bit of skill but it doesn't take that much though, but good players who choose GOOD perks and not cheap stuff like matyrdom or last stand will rock you. Speaking of that why would someone take a perk that happens when they die? You are obviously a noob and expecting to die alot if you do that.

dont know about the PC version (shouldve gotten that i guess) but when you are shooting someone trying to get a good shot, and then someone runs across the screen and your character does a 90 degree turn......that equals, TURN DOWN THE AUTOAIM!!!

I have never experienced that degree of auto aim...i think there's an option to turn it off...i may be wrong though.

and TF2 got a patch to fix the UNBEARABLE lag.
