The issue isn't disk space, its the non-standard HDD. When your game is a large open-world game like GTA, you have to rely on streaming for your assets. You can't simply keep everything in memory, and you can't have load screens every 60 seconds. If you are streaming, its better to stream of a HDD than it is to stream off optical media. Your seek times are better, and your transfer speeds are better. On the PS3, you're guaranteed to have a HDD so you can design your whole game knowing that you can stream off of it. With the 360 though, you're not guaranteed a HDD so you have to design your game with the lowest common denominator in mind (those 1% of 360's that don't have a hard drive). Teufelhuhn

that's actually not 100% true.

and MS is sticking to their promise that no matter what model of the 360 you have, you will be able to play any game. regardless if you have a memory card, a HDD, or nothing at all.

Bioshock isn't an Xbox 360 exclusive. I for one plan to play it on PC. I don't really understand how there's a fight between any of these games either - you're matching a lot of stuff up that's not in the same genre.

Then again, I don't fully understand the whole "lemming vs cow" war that's being waged either - you both have a similar vision for console gaming, so why fight over the nuances?
