After a long wait, i recieved my old school, good taste, and serious collector emblem. it was about 3 weeks before i recieved them because of the glitch.
Also i recently saw the movie Borat. I found it hilarious and thought that it was one of the funniest movies i had ever seen. i would suggest that you don't see this movie if you are easily offended. that is all, and as Borat would say "happy times"
On Friday i went to Best Buy and picked up a new game for my pc. I got Fable: The Lost Chapters, and so far it is turning out to be a great buy. I am finding it very fun and it only cost me $20.
The San Francisco Giants announced that they hired former San Diego Padres manager Bruce Bochy. Bochy will be replacing recently fired manager Felipe Alou. The Giants have signed him to a $6 million dollar contract over three years. Bochy had been with the Padres for over 20 years and the last 12 as manager. This move is a good one for the Giants because they are getting a manager that was already in he NL West division so he knows the other teams well, which will benefit the Giants.
Today the Oakland A's announced that they have fired manager Ken Macha. I find this move surprising because he just led them to the ALCS. I guess they are looking for someone that can get them to the World Series.
The Detroit Tigers advanced to the World Series after sweeping the Oakland A's. They won on a Magglio Ordonez walk off home run. That has to be a bad way to get eliminated, and now Huston Street gets to think about it all offseason. A very tough loss and series for the A's.
The #16 California Golden Bears beat #11 Oregon Ducks 45 to 24. WOOOO GO BEARS. The new uniforms are cool too.
