There was already a significant price drop with the release of the 60Gb Pro. The Christmas bundles are showing up now so I seriously doubt there will be another price drop this year.

Where I live (South Africa) the Xbox 360 is already cheaper than the PS 2 and less than half the price of a PS 3.

As for Blu-Ray, why don't we wait for them to actually make any real Blu-Ray format movies before we stress about it. Most Blu-Ray movies out now are just upscaled from DVD anyway.

And as for PS 3 hardware, I have yet to see a PS 3 game that doesn't look better on the 360. Fallout 3, GTA IV etc. all look way better on the 360 and the 360-exclusive games (as noted all over the world) are far superior to any PS 3 games anyway.

Lastly, the "Valhalla" version of the 360 is due out toward the end of 2009 (speculation) so I don't see the next gen (720?) coming out too soon. I reckon 2011 is the year for the next gen consoles.

I've got two spider bites that left some pretty deep scars, but I'm definitely not afraid of them. There are so many worse things where I live that it's kinda pointless to worry about spiders.

Oh, and I've been to Australia a few times and they certainly weren't batmen as far as I could see. People in the cities freak out at the tiniest spiders and squash them on sight, but the people out of town were always too drunk to notice anything much, so maybe they were the batmen?

I think animal torture is worse because:

A) It is WAY more prevalent, especially in places like China and Japan

and

B) Animals don't torture animals (except maybe cats and chimpanzees) but people torture people as well as animals. And animals don't understand why it's happening as spiteful cruelty is not something they're familiar with.

I'd rather make an effort to save tortured Servals, Leopards etc. in China than that guy in Korea. But that's just me.

It's still wrong though, torture in any form on any person or animal. The Third World needs to be nuked!
