@Justinps2hero well they do take some years to develop, he probably just mentioned his focus on future consoles since he thinks the 3DS' hardware is perfect as it is, so no DS lite or XL upgrades for the 3DS (glad they don't plan on making the second thumbstick part of the console just yet)
