@Pierce_Sparrow since when have pirates been overdone? I've never played a pirate game aside from Sid Meier's Pirates. I haven't heard of any others either (pirates of the carribean doesnt count and all the games were terrible). My first Call of Duty was Modern Warfare 1 (same year as AC1). and look at which game has grown more stale. CoD has grown into a lifeless repetitive multiplayer game (with a single player thrown in for good measure), while AC has consistently kept me interested. The only game that almost made me lose interest in the series was Revelations, and alli had to do was put it down for 6 months and try again and i enjoyed it. I am loving AC3, although I do see what he means by its losing its magic. But think about it: which is a more beautiful, historically rich time period? The Renaissance or the founding of America? Ill take the Golden Age of pirating over the latter. The founding of America was all wooden buildings, makeshift housing, and wilderness. It's starting from scratch as opposed to thousands of years of history and beautiful architecture. AC4 will thrive on the natural beauty of the Caribbean, at least I think it will. It will be different, but great. Let's see in a few weeks.
