Nintendo was not always on top ,they know how it feels like to be second or even 3rd place ,but they just kept on going along ,believing in their own strenght and following the greatest mind the industry has ever known in miyamoto ,today they are back in their dominating ways .this thread is for the followers of nintendo and im just giving a shout out to my favorite videogame company for all the countless hours their games have entertained me , nintendo has touched millions of gamers hearts ,inspired many of their competitors business model ,here's a toast to the greatest videogame company who has made the biggest impact in the videogame culture pheonomenon ,here's the some of the legendary figures who was responsible for nintendo's success

father of the most influential system in videogame history in gameboy ,creator of virtual boy and wonderswan and oh yeah that lil series called metroid also known as miyamoto's mentor .

father of mario ,metroid and zelda ..and the greatest mind the industry has ever known ,the videogame industry's greatest weapon against videogame ignorance ,to this day ..cliff blezenski ,hideo kojima and david jaffe say the man is their inspiration when creating games .

wii and ds was became a reality when he took over from yamauchi and the rest is history

-we make fun of casual gamers ,but they outnumber us core gamers in the millions

-ps3 and xbox 360 are going after the same audience which leaves the wii completely unthreathened

-ps3 and xbox 360 are too high of a price for the (140 million ps2 users ) who are still undecided which system they buy

-people hear about the wii, they want to know about the wii & end up buying a wii = power of word of mouth

-it's safe to say now that ds and the wii has truly disrupted the industry ,just look @ software sales and wii and ds dominate it

wii -30 million sold

xbox 360 -20 million

ps3 -14.5 million sold

p.s it's just a question of when we will see 3rd party core games for the wii ,since 3rd party co's will be foolish to ignore it's userbase which is expected to be @ 50 million by next summer

am i the only one worried about the fact that the 360 only has a dvd-rom drive. what is MS going to do about this. it was only this week alone the folks at id make mention of the restrains a dvd-rom has on the 360. Games as large as MGS4 cannot even begin to hold on a dvd dual layer or not. as we move into the future arent games going to become lager and lager wat is MS going to do??k0wing

mmorpg , rpg ,action rpg ...theyre all role playing games .

Square-enix praise usually comes from console sheep who has never touched a blizzard game or the rpg gamer that refuses to pay for a fee (which is fine) but have no clue what they are missing , jrpg's are good and i used to praise it a lot (especially ff3 and chrono trigger for snes and ff7 -ff 10 across platforms )

n terms of the sheer size .replayability ,intuitive battle system , reward ,fun factor ,great boss fights and true meaning of team dependent gameplay and of course pvp no square enix game or console rpg will ever top world of warcraft ..dont agree with me ask the 11 million people across the globe that played it

no square enix game has ever been winner of gamespot goty ,heck i cant even remember any square enix game to be nominated for goty @ gs ..

ps3 version ftw ,xbox 360 d-pad is the worst for fighting games and if i can play tekken 5:dr just fine on-line on my ps3 ,cali 4 online on ps3 should be just fine since idc for achievments
