I'm 51 and I play games on all platforms. Some people may find it odd that someone my age still plays video games but it my favorite form of entertainment and I will continue to play until I die. Buy the 3DS and enjoy it.

Persona 3 and 4 on the PS2 were my all time favorite games to play. I also enjoyed the Persona 3 Portable on the PSP. Both games are basically RPGs, dating sims and dungeon crawlers rolled up into one. The Persona series is great.

No. I'm 50 and I still play Pokemon and any other game I like. I love Japanese turn-based rpgs among other genres. I play games on the 360, PS3, PSP, Wii, DSi, and 3DS as well as pc games. Don't let anyone make you feel bad for playing a game you like. I plan on gaming till the day I die. Have fun and tell the haters to go screw themselves.

I'm enjoying so far. I've never played the orginal, so I can't compare it with this one. Nevertheless, it's been a great game thus far. However, I can understand why anyone who has played the original would not want to play this one.
