i thought the same thing! i was fed up of doing the network bridge trick and having to have my PC on when my i wanted to use LIVE. I bit the bullet and bought a 360 wireless adapter. Its fantastic! can't tell the difference from a wired connection. i say go for it.
Not just that, but the US get games earlier even if it's a British-developed game (Fable II) and they get all of these pre-order bonuses that we don't. Fable II pub games and Banjo Kazooie being just two.
LIVE is also more expensive. In Ireland, it costs 60 euro for a year of LIVE which is the equivalent of about $90. I'm REALLY sicked of being screwed over by MS. Honestly, Sony and Ninty are much better at taking care of their customers.

Im a big gamer and i do buy into pre-order goodies and collector editions. its what i enjoy, i just don't seem to get the chance to in the UK. I agree with you on the EU front - but what that about $ ? are you AUS or US?
