In Super Mario Sunshine you get this mission to brush the black filthy teeth of an eel. Yeah, it's really quite scary. And at the end of it, it reminds all the kids to brush their teeth.

This little story starts with the morning newspaper. Every day the same guy hands me the morning newspaper City on my way to work. But this morning there was a lot of people moving about so I went past him, slowed down and he remembered me, handed me the paper. I read all 3 of them at work and I found the add for the Peps Blodsband concert. Ok, Peps is playing 50m from my apartment. Last time I went to see Peps was on a festival in Malmö. I had to take the train and walk many steps and there he was in his white suit playing awesome harmonica. Smoked and drank between every song too. And on my way home I almost missed the last bus, with no money on me to take an alternative route. This concert was amazing. Sure there was maybe too many people in such a confined space but everyone was dancing. And those guys are good. Peps sings better or identical to how he sounds on record and they filled out the songs with a lot of improvised groove.

Yesterday was a great day as I finally finished up and oiled in my new oakboard TV table. I'm very pleased with the result considering me and my dad had to drive around to three different stores for parts, none which were ment to fit. I knew IKEA had oak legs as those are actually legs for their beds. I kinda knew those would work but that they needed some sawing. One oak board from Jem&Fix, then we predrilled the holes, two giant screws in each leg and behold, a perfectly good TV table !

I finished the day playing some Guardian Heroes feeling quite satisfied with myself :)

Ikaruga alone automaticly makes this episode the best buttonmashing And is Darkwatch really that obscure ? I knew it right away because I've checked gamespot reviews and sorted by score. I think Darkwatch ends up high in that list.

so just played a bit of coldwar, got the first nuclear bomb briefcase. it pretty much is a sneaking game and the dudes you are up against are way superior. so they will be in this loop where they come out, fire a few rounds and go back behind the wall. only option is to run away really. it's kinda polished .. nice cleanlooking game with good menus.

but fetching 3 briefcases with nuclear weapons.. in corridors that all look the same.. and soldiers that look the same spread out randomly.. dude..tedious..

geigermeter is rad tho, the closer you get the more of that lovely noise.

To follow up some sad news. Since a few days ago I've been playing Viewtiful Joe with a serious attitude towards beating the game. I've spent hours crunching away at the shark boss and every time he has pretty much eaten my balls. As much as that is an enjoyment in itself because of all the beatiful animations. In the end you just want to beat the bastard.

Yesterday I stayed up. I refused to lay down my controller. I was becoming dehydrated, but in the end, I delivered a severe beating on this shark that has been eating my balls for far too long.

So I've been playing Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance. First game was kind of neat. maybe a bit oversimplistic, but the story was nice. Second game is boring ! I'll get back to why. First game for the PC was very good. but controlling a big group of people is just a pain. I also find those games drops way too many items. going back to town just to sell your load isn't all that fun. And if the game is gonna drop an item it should be a good item. And it should not shower you in good items because that kind of cancels it out. Dark Alliance 2 also introduces socketed items. which are kind of pointless and boring. Most reviews I've read mentions that as if it was a nice bonusfeature. They should atleast mention that it sucks and belongs in FF7. I should mention that I started Dark Alliance 2 as a drow. The game was very challenging at the very start but very soon got too easy. I just swing my halberd and stuff dies. Boring. Maybe it's time to play some nwn again.
