I think this version is going to be the most buggiest splinter cell ever... you can even notice problems in the Ubiday video demonstration. And being more complex than AC was "interacting with every object you come across" I doubt that Ubisoft is capable of delivering a polished release
They should cancel the idea and go back to the original concept and try to expand on it. less buggy and more fun to play... I mean, where is the fun in getting stealthy in big crowd and throwing PC screens on security guards?
Gaming in PC is not really expensive compared to the power you will get... but it is expensive compared to the amount of games that you will enjoy !
And right now, PC gaming market is all about MMO and crazy-graphics-that-no-one-can-run FPS games! Online Online and more online games focused...
taking a look at consoles.. you got Halo, Metal Gear, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Uncharted, Gears of War, battle field bad company etc... why losing much money on a pc to play Crysis or some other fps/online titles ? and then after three months you will be blown away by a new set of GeForce cards that double the graphics and games that will laugh at your rig ... where on console you will enjoy your games for 4 years or more just as the critic at gamespot did !
nice topic but you almost forgot one of the best and perhapse the first game that brought hollywood feel to video games ... the long runner Metal Gear series dude! you can fill dozens of text books to tell its complex story and , like the case with most movies, the story in the end is linked with every one daily life in some way
