Anyone else been getting them off some idiot called Johnny410? He was sending a hell of a lot of abuse but seriously over a review? that's just pathetic in my books. Probably some fan boys because I gave killzone a 7 or Halo 3 an 8.

Siiigh sometimes i feel like losing hope on humanity.

Well recently i went to Hong Kong and while there I found copies of Vampire Rain : Altered Species and Demon's Souls.

Both supposedly solid games. Vampire Rain is supposedly one of the worst games ever made due to its "impossible difficulty."

Funny that Demon's Souls should get so much praise eh? Vampire Rain is extremely popular over in Asia and I just completed it in one sitting. I have to say, this is the most underrated game i've ever played. One thing I must say is that reviewers are terrible, half of them haven't actually played Altered Species i'm sure as it IS NOT the same game that was released on the 360, there are absolutely hundreds of changes, the most notable being difficulty. The game is not impossible, in fact its one of the easiest games i've played in recent times. I found Dark Sector more challenging than this. I love how reviewers failed to mention this and the changes to missions/storyline. They said there was an extra mode after the game was completed but yet again, i fail to see any reviewers saying what this is and i personally think this is because none have completed the game.

Next: Demon's Souls.

Lived up to expectations. Brilliant, nothing more, nothing less. However I believe it'll only get ratings of 7-8 tops because this IS a hard game. Most people seem far to trigger happy to think their way through games nowadays. I hope it gets the reviews it deserves.

Aha, hes a nice kid. Recently though he has been causing some concern to me, he keeps telling me about a bully. His parents keep brushing this off though and i think Oliver is actually scared of him, any advice?

Resident Evil 5 (taken from review)

Graphics: Some of the best we've seen this gen with good animations. However these animations are recycled and get annoying to see over and over. Bland art design.

Gameplay: Addictive and fun. The mercenaries mode is fantastic. Some good boss battles. However the gameplay is feeling old already. Most boss battles are average. Co-op is both a gift and curse.

Story: Some epic scenes are ruined by terrible writing dominated by cliche after cliche. Takes itself too serious and rips off many other stories.

Sound: Some good voice acting, mainly terrible. An average soundtrack which does little to induce fear.

Replayability: Many things to unlock with an amazing mercenaries mode and a lackluster online component which costs money.

Overall: Resident Evil 5 is an addictive fun ride. It manages to be a great game but fails to be a great 'Resident Evil' game. Which is a real shame. It took many games to make the old RE's gameplay become old. This one has overstayed its welcome after one sequel.

Killzone 2

Graphics: Simply the best visuals on any console technically, while not up to the same quality as Crysis these visuals are truly breathtaking. However it is insulting how much gray is used in such a technically stunning game. Manages to give a gritty feeling but is overall very unimaginative and ugly in terms of art styl3.

Gameplay: Controls are solid and can be customized. Character feels like they have weight. Cover system is well implemented. AI is good. Dull level design and extremely repetetive. Friendly AI is dumb. Too easy. Unoriginal.

Story: Dull plot with unlikable characters. Some epic scenes but very cliche. Lacks any really depth or thought.

Sound: Voice acting is decent for the most part but the voice or Ricco is extremely unlikable. Script is lackluster so the voice acting is barely put to good use. Helgast sound cool. Weapons sound appropriately powerful. Decent soundtrack.

Replayability: Single player is short and leaves little reason to return. Online mode is deep and competetive. Online feels like a more tactical COD. Few weapons.

Overall: A good attempt by Guerilla but unfortunatley Sony's killer app doesn't play quite as well as it looks. A sequel is promising nevertheless.

Score: 7/10

Little Big Planet

Graphics: Cute and creative. Technically great. Some annoying framerate problems when playing online.

Gameplay: Very deep. Good platform mechanics. Feels fresh for a console game. Many unlockables. A lot of replay value. User created levels has been done before. Online is essential to get the most out of this game.

Story: While there is no proper story there are thousands to be told.

Sound: Steven Fry is an amazing narrator. Cute little sounds. Great soundtrack.

Replayability: This game lives on the community, so long as theres a community there will always be reason to return.

Overall: Little Big Planet while not 100% original is a massive step in console gaming. It is simple yet utterly addictive.

Score: 9/10

Yes, so my playstation 3 is under maintanance but once i get it back I will be spending a shed load of money on videogames to catch up. Here is my wishlist so far:

Demons Souls - Only available in Asia at this current time but i will import if nessessary, its the spiritual sequel to Kings Field which i thought was okay but this game seems to be a cross between Shadow of the Colussus and Oblivion. Its supposed to be as hard as nails but nevertheless very rewarding, i've heard of people dying 6-7 times on the first level. They don't make games like this anymore where fear of death is actually present.

Silent Hill: Homecoming : Okay so reviews for this installment in the series have so far been nothing more than average to bad. Nevertheless i am a big fan of the series atmosphere and i believe a new control scheme was a good idea, the game is more action orientated than the previous games but that doesn't bother me as long as the atmosphere and narrative are intact.

Siren Blood Curse: Saw this little gem for 15 GBP and was swayed. After playing the demo i have high expectations. The game recieved decent to great reviews. After playing Dead Space and being slightly dissapointed in the scare factor i hope this will be able to please my thirst for a real survival horror.

Strange list i know. The only games here i'll be getting for certain are the first 3. Should keep me entertained for a good few years. All i'm waiting for now is Kojima's big announcement on the 18th, i pray its not an MGS port to 360. No offence to 360 owners I would just feel slightly robbed as MGS was my main reason for me purchasing a PS3. Foolish perhaps but i could easily argue there was not a single game on the 360 that took my interest at the time.

My luck could not be any worse. Playing MGS3: Subsistence (rare in Wales) inside my 60gb PS3 rare. I then get the YLOD losing both simultaneously. Gah maybe its a sign im not studying enough but Sony were really nice. The guy on the phone was having a chat about my name and its origin lol.

Anyway i have to pay them $100 to get a replacement which i suppose is reasonable and they said they would send my copy of MGS3 back.

I can't believe the mods on the PS3 board.

I agreed with someone else's statement and got moderated for disruptive posting. I'd understand if i was agreeing to something completely out of order but i wasn't. Unless you think "Bioshock > Assassins creed" should be considered out of order.

These guys are getting too big for their boots and i've been moderated numerous times for stupid offences.
