i know someone here has had the same problem can you help me out?
with what? if you have a big hd tv.. Wii games just don't look that good. progressive scan and component cables will make it look a little better, but mostly in color and clearity. jaggies will be even more appearant... Maybe some games in the future will have better Anti aliassing. i HOPE.AntiAliasing or Ansiostrophic Filtering are features we would probably never see for a very long time in consoles.
Many console games use anti-aliasing.
I heard more than 80% of the games for Wii and GCN support WideScreen 480p, so it doesnt make sense for T.P. to be missing WideScreen on the GC if it is one of the final games for the system. You heard wrong. At least 2/3 of GameCube games support progressive-scan, but that doesn't necessarily mean that they support widescreen. I doubt 10% of 'Cube games support widescreen. The Wii's percentage for 480p and widescreen are much nicer, but still not as high as they should be.

no the wii version is mirrored. the wii is more blurry, it has no camera system, and you need to buy the component cables to make it look as good as the gc version. trust me get the gc.thefmanWhat are you talking about? The Wii version is not blurrier. The graphics are identical other than the Wii supporting widescreen. Also, you need component cables for the GameCube to make that version look good also. It's not like the GameCube with composite cables looks as good as the Wii with component.
[QUOTE="lzorro"]Do you have component cables? Have you changed the console setting from 480i to 480p? And what type of tv do you have?dawso0n
ok i have a 28" LCD TV LE26R41BD yes i have component cables and yes its set to 480p and yes redsteel looks the worst
Ah, I asked too late. Either way, Red Steel looks bad because Red Steel is not a great looking game. How does Zelda look?[QUOTE="KewDrew"]To be completely honest with you, I don't recommend splitters at all. They're money you have to pay, and they can slightly reduce picture quality by having the signal more distant. Is it too cumbersome to just plug them in when you need them? Do you switch around your systems that often?ROLFCHANKi guess i dont know how often i will be doing it, as i just have a 360 atm. honestly i doubt ill be switching them up all the time, so i might just go with that option. ugh i wish theyd just put more inputs on these tvs. Yeah, I know. I totally agree, but just switching the cables every once in a while is definitely the most economic route to go. You won't have to pay for a splitter and splitters can degrade picture quality anyway. But, bottom line, you don't want to forgo 480p just so you can have all your systems hooked up at once.
[QUOTE="sonic_spark"]ALso the Wii version supports 480pSo does the GameCube version. The only difference is in terms of graphics is the Wii version supports widescreen. The Wii version also uses the unique control scheme of course, but you get full camera control on the GameCube.TP on Wii is Widescreen, the GC version is not.
