The Only Real Problems i have always had with sequals is that they go on for no reason and are not always connected. Two companies that are good for that is Square Enix and Nintendo. Nintendo has the same things they had 10 years ago and people still buy then Mario,Super Smash Bros,Zelda, and pokemon and if they dont talk about even one it goes into a frenzy at E3. Square Enix is big for things like this Look at Final Fantasy, Star Ocean, and Dragon Quest both started in the early 90's and have still been going with little connectivity between the games and people still buy them really i think square enix should just give up because the same fans they had 15 years ago arnt gonna want to play these games in another 15-20 years

Really if You have a pc there really isnt much for you to have because every game that is any good for the xbox will eventually come out on PC so if you really want an XBOX 360 now get it but i would hold out till the end of the year. Xbox live however is better if you want alot more competition in your shooter games and fighting games being that it has one of the largest memberships of anything worldwide.

Fallout 3 because its the only game that is always coming out with new content on a regular basis(besides Rock Band and everyother music game on XBL) that keeps the game fun. GTA4 would bebetter if its content was released in better intervals like Fallouts.

To me there are some games that dont need sequals (bioshock,Ninja Gaiden, DOA: volleyball) however some do really its just because the company know has stable ground and doesnt have to worry about something new that might not be good. Sequals also usually make more money that originals simply because they already have a huge fanbase

It Depends on the game some games offer guest profiles while some are only single screen. The only way if there single screen is to buy another 360 so unless you have money to spend to keep up and buy two of everything just to play with him just stick to offline games. but halo is the only game ive played that allows guest play

And it was worth the hype. But I disagree with you guys. A great new concept can ring up a lot of hype if the idea is a good one. Look at inFAMOUS.

Another Example is prototype which is all over the internet now and TV

I can't believe I forgot about that. Thanks.

Really to me the only way a new game gets any info is if they are made by a well known company like Psychonauts which is an amazing game but got little advertisement due to having an unkown in publishing. Games like Army of Two and Kane and Lynch got heavy advertisement but turned out to be a little dissapointing so really it depends on who is making the games and how much money they can spare on ads.

New games don't create the same excitement as sequels do.

I'd love to argue, but you're right. The only way they can create good excitement is if you hype them up a lot. And they can't do that with every new game in case it falls flat on it's face. PS3's new game infamous got a fair bit of excitement I think.

Looks Like Microsoft is paving the way with more "virtual" virtual things to do

Seriously, how far off are we really from some sort of "Holodeck" becoming a reality? Imagine the "user generated content" for that. ;)

All i know is that microsoft is not trying to get with the Pedo crowd by introducing milo who knows what stories we might hear on the internet after this stuff is released
