I can hate the mists of pandaria CG trailer because it screws over the game i used to love. One thing it does well is show the progression of WoW; that the game was good when it was alliance vs. horde with serious conflicts until pandas came into the mix with love happiness and cooperation.
I missed the stress test  What did I miss in terms of changes. I got to play for like 20 minutes then had other things to do, was pretty bummed so did I miss any profession changes, balancing? From what I saw enemies appeared a little big tougher but could have been just me not having played it much at all.JohnF111

Here you go. Theres also a rumor that the Launch Trailer will be revealed tomorrow at Gamescom. It will most likely usehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YzWlxbg34Ymusic but voiced. A snippet of the voiced track is on amazonhttp://www.amazon.com/Fear-This-Night-Guild-feat/dp/B008W2X86Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345084215&sr=8-1&keywords=fear+not+this+night
So sad, went at EBgames (yes, i know, its a pathetic store) to pre-purchase the game and get it 3 days earlier but they ran out of codes... now its only pre-ordered and will get it on the 27th (still not sure how this works with codes n all)silversix_If you have the code go to https://register.guildwars2.com/ and type it in to link it to an account. From there you can download the client and play it on the 27th I'm assuming whereas you can get the box on the 28th.
[QUOTE="Vaasman"]If you didn't like it then you won't like it now, they seriously dumbed down the leveling in WoW and leveling was never really great anyway in that game.
Haven't played LOTRO but D&D online's f2p is pretty decent because it gets you into dungeons almost right away, and the dungeons are pretty well developed with cool traps and puzzles. Only downfall is that you hit content you have pay for too quickly, but if you're just looking for a taste of MMO's I can definitely recommend it.
Inconsistancy
I really hate when people say WoW's leveling has been dumbed down. It was always horrible, boring, easy, tedious, a pointless grind through content you've already done. The only thing that has changed is that it takes a little less time, by no means does that 'dumb it down', there's no strategy/skill involved in leveling in the first place.
The leveling in damn near every MMO is as equally mindless sh!t as every other one. The only exception I've had was lvl 1-16 in SWTOR(Sith Inquisitor), that was actually fun.... then the game takes a swift jump off the nearest cliff.
The gameplay in an MMO actually wouldn't be acceptable in any other genre, and it shouldn't be acceptable for MMO's either (standard hotkey combat that is). I really wish MMO's could be 'fun' to level in, fun as games. 95% of the time you're alone anyway, so they really should be able to stand up with modern sp/co-op games. I wish the trend of no AI would end, I wish the combat would be more something like MassEffect2/3 or DMC/Bayonetta, instead of damn lockon+hotkeys.
While not exactly meeting your expectations the game of the hype thread you are posting in addresses alot of those points. Better combat, fun leveling, fun minigames, 95% of the time you are not alone but are being helped by other players etc.Guild Wars 2 just because Borderlands 1 was one of the most boring shooters i've ever played. It felt like I was playing an mmo with guns but with worse quests than WoW. Hopefully Borderlands 2 improves on that but i'll be playing Guild Wars 2 all September.
For anyone saying BWE3 was too easy it was a bug and the difficulty at release will be more reflective of BWE2. Source:http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/xij3o/bwe3_difficulty/
Anyone interested in the game should check outhttp://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/1058358-Guild-Wars-2-Mass-info-for-the-uninitiated-READ-ME!
That post details basically every aspect of the game that isn't in this thread. I am personally hoping for a 9.0 or a 9.5 from gamespot as it truly will be the best mmo on the market when it releases.
