8/10? Gamespot reviewers have no friends :P

The new one gives the impression that there is a lot to do, while the other one it's less appealing to people who don't know the game.

So imo the new one is better and will help sales.

I'm hoping for the best: trailer of the new Zelda wii game in E3. Why? Because, Twilight Princess was released in 06 and it was primarily developed to GC.

So, they could easily be developing a wii title since 2006, which makes almost 3 years of development. I want some results :P

I'm not going to argue if Zelda Twilight Princess is one of the easiest games in Zelda. Let's put this in another way:

- I think if you can make someone play TP before Ocarina of Time, maybe (just maybe) that person will think OT is easier than TP.

The kind of puzzle and thinking in TP is much like any other Zelda game, so you can probably say it is easier because you already had that kind of thinking before.

How's the frame rate?

From what has been shown of the game, that's one of the few things that may keep me from buying it (if it's not steady of course).

I could be wrong, but if the countdown was in the form of HH:MM:SS, we wouldn't get SS to reach 99. So, we can assume we're talking about lots of seconds, so we'll have to wait 7 more days until the it finishes.

Nothing else should matter to you than this.

First things first: I'm sorry if there is already a thread about this matter, but I searched the forum and didn't find anything.

Second: I know score of a game is not the most important thing when you talk about a GOTY, but it is not less important as an accurate indicator of the quality of a game.

My biggest surprise on this year's nominees for GOTY was the absence of SSBB on that list. The game has an AAA score of 9.5, the highest on Wii, and it's in fact a really good game.

With that said, I wouldn't put any more objections if the rest of the games were really from another level. But then I looked a little closer to the list and found Left4Dead.

I have nothing against Left4Dead, I'm even thinking of buying it. It's a great concept and the game itself must be pretty fun. But then enters the score: 8.5. It's a good score, but don't tell me that a 8.5 AA game deserves to be nominated for GOTY, while an 9.5 AAA game doesn't. If it does, then probably Gamespot's score was wrong in some way, but then you look at the critic score and it's still an AA vs an AAA game. It just doesn't fit.

I would even consider the possibility of that happening if the list was full of fighting games already, but there isn't a single one on that list. Well, maybe that's the real problem...
